Here is a complete guide of growing almond plant at home
Choose healthy unbroken almond nuts. The best time for almond growing an almond tree is winter, the winter season provides favorable conditions for almond germination.
Soak healthy almond nuts in normal water for 24-36 hrs
Remove tip of the soaked almond nut to enhance almond seed germination.
Use moist river sand for growing almond seeds,do not add to much water in the sand otherwise, the almond seed may spoil due to excess water.
Bury half portion of the almond seed into moist sand.
Cover the pot with any transparent polythene, to keep moistening the growing medium for longer.
Covering the growing medium with transparent polythene provides a greenhouse effect for the seed which encourages fast seed germination.
It takes about 7-10 days to sprout almonds. - Jak na to + styl

I followed this twice but everytime it sprouts and i transplant it, it gets fungus infection in roots and the seed gets spoiled and die eventually. Please suggest me a good way not to get fungus i have freshly sproutted seeds in my fridge.

Yes i did it, almost 5 times, the seeds get sprouted and it gets some tiny leaves then it starts dying and the roots get brown and weak even though lighting and watering is on proper schedule. I dont understand what the problem is, i suspect cocopeat is the problem as it holds moisture and rots the root. Please suggest something that i can try.
Keep it in refrigerator till proper green leaves appear, after that, place it in a dry place in sunlight

Almomd growth takes about 40days to only form the root, after then small leaf pair grows, and in open space, it causes fungus attack which makes impossible to grow without refrigerator

Don't we need to put them in the refrigerator, I have put almonds in the wet soaked in the refrigerator for at least 20 days but nothing happened
No need to put them in freez....just soak in water and burry only half seeds in moisten sand .....
