You should be able to unlock "Ultimate Performance Plan". I did that months ago, forgot how to do it. Just search for it on CZcams.

In Privacy don't disable microphone options if you use an external soundcard for DJ'ing or any other audio use. It stops you from broadcasting using Winamp/Shoutcast and Windows shows that there is no audio coming through the line in when there is.

I like that you do not need an additional program. Here an overview:
1. Performance high
2. Windows Options (turn off unwanted not needed optins)
3. Defrag
4. Autostart (and runforever...)
5. delete data trash ad unnescessary files (do not use cleaner Programs) Temp and %temp%
6. clean the recycle bin and size of it
7. Disc Clean (Windows incl.)
8. registry tweak (optimize)
9. cutting unwanted backround services
10. reduce visual effects
11. Additional performance
Do not ever defrag an SSD, it's not needed. Also it will reduce the lifespan of the drive by a good chunk.
Edit: What Windows 10 does is a manual execution of the trim command (Windows 10 does this automatically at regular intervals). If you defrag manually in an old system you won't get better performance and reduce the lifespan of the SSD.
The Defrag should be done last, as it moves files around to be contiguous. Disc Clean, Recycle bin, registry tweeks all affect files.

Gonna try these, got my laptop back in 2016 (mid/high end XPS) and i feel its been getting slower and slower when my usage really hasn’t changed. Hope a few of these can speed it up. Its been so frustrating when just switching from Chrome to Word and it hangs 😑. Yes I know chrome is a resource hog as well.

@geeks tutorial : I followed your steps. At step 3, defragmentation took a very long time. After waiting 1 hour, I decided to continue your video and complete the other steps (hoping completing those other steps wont affect the defragmentation process). After I finished your steps, my computer is still very sluggish. What else could be causing slow computer? Thanks!
i think your computer have so much archives, if then, they cause the slow defragmentation because the process will read the entire hard disk. If your pc is very slow, try checking its hardware specs, pcs under 512 MB of Ram and less than 1 Ghz or 900Mhz might be slow cuz its a very outdated pc :/ (im sorry if you couldnt understand my answer/reply cuz i am not a native speaker)
