WOW! That’s some crazy amount of skill it takes to loop a section of a popular song and slow it down

It’s called sampling 😂 So many artists have done it in the past. Here’s an example, “It Was A Good Day” by Ice Cube, used a sample of the song “Footsteps In The Dark” by The Isley Brothers. That part was then sped up, and they created an 8 bar beat loop on the sample, thus creating a whole new song. Just because the said artist or producer used a light sample with effects, doesn’t mean it’s not creative or “not talent”. There’s no such thing as in good music, as anything can be created with any sound 😂
@@jye116 sampling is great when it’s transformative enough to deem it a new song, like how you mentioned with ice cube and the Isley brothers, these “artists” aren’t doing anything to transform the song into something new and creative or adding anything to it, they simply slow a song down and call it a day.
@@hackingenious7 bruh that's kinda the worst thing you could've called transformative. footsteps in the dark and it was a good day are literally the same song. ice cube changed almost nothing other than rapping over it. at that point the original "all night" is even more transformative if anything.
also, i feel like you haven't heard the original version of this song, only this sped up version.

I've noticed an error in the video that the audio cuts off for the last few seconds as the video fades out. I'm not sure if Jummkopf will get that fixed yet, but do not worry, as the full speed won't be like that when it's available for download in Vol. II. So long as the tracks make an appearance on "vaporwave songs and their original samples", we'll consider.
For the case of Iacon and Saint Pepsi, those tracks are gonna have to wait, as Iacon has already made an appearance for Vol. II, and so will Saint Pepsi in the future.
Also, I actually don't know what sample is used for Pop Up's "Hot!" and I would love to know.

Skamux In my point of view, some put noise like heard from a VHS tape or a casette, but it's a little bit difficult to detect it and the drums could be added to be louder and cover the sample's altered and pitched beat. Also the song I think was made when the genre has the #1 goal: to criticise capitalism, showing you the false promises of it (also it's inspired on elevator music, a reason of why so short).
