I was pregnant at 15 not the most ideal thing. No.job just a kid. My school counselor handed me abortion pamphlets every day.. I knew no matter how.scared I was God gave me.a baby for a reason and I wasn't going to kill a baby. That's what it is killing a baby. My baby is 10 now. ❤

We adopted my son 22 years ago. His birth mom was only 14 and she could have easily aborted him. She chose life even though she was pressured to terminate her pregnancy. My son just graduated from college as a violin performance major. He was never unplanned in God eyes. Before the foundation of the earth he was in God's thoughts. This song speaks truth. May it be used in a mighty way to bring honor and glory to our Creator and Lord.

I've never been pregnant- contraception or otherwise- and I married later in life so the odds of pregnancy were already low. I'm starting to go through 'the change' now. But a few years ago I went through another change, after struggling with the abortion issue for years. These testimonies and life-affirming images, like sonograms and videos of babies in-utero, CAN change minds and hearts. There are atheists who have come to believe that each unborn child is a wholly separate human and must be allowed to live. I can pray to God for those unborn children, and for those who speak up for their right to life.

Ok so a bit of backstory, one of the ladies at my church is a pro-life speaker and she’s actually best friends with Abby Johnson (she’s actually the godmother of Abby’s unborn 8th child currently 😄) and she was “in the know” about a lot of the stuff that went into making this movie (they even got to visit the set during filming!) and she told us the story behind this song being in the movie.
So they wanted a title song just like most Christian movies do (think God’s Not Dead lol) and they were considering a bunch of different Christian artists like Lauren Daigle etc... but they couldn’t decide, and then they ended up calling Matthew West about it and he said “I can’t believe you guys are actually talking to me about this right now” and that it had been on his heart for a couple of months before that phone call, and that he had already written it. Then he started singing it over the phone to them 😭 and obviously the rest is history :D
And Mr. West, I already loved you and your music before this but I have infinitely more respect for you now because of this 😭 thank you!

I was born with high-functioning Autism which can’t be detected before birth. I was given a chance at life and I wouldn’t trade my disorder for anything. It’s the reason I am pro-life without exception. If I’m allowed a chance at life, so should everyone else.

I'm married and all my kids came "unplanned" but am so happy they came just at the right time. I had many hopes in the future I thought was for me ( career), but it turned out God had a better future for me, one I didn't dreamt of. My next pregnancy came 6 months after taking over my own business and although I was shocked ( I had a positive pregnancy test and it wasn't even 2 weeks after conception[ I knew when conception was], I knew that moment it would be a boy, I knew his name ( God did before me), I stumbled upon this song in that time when I didn't know how to cope with everything and it hit me so hard! I knew then everything is in His hand and he will help me with my own business to continue due to pregnancy, baby, breastfeeding at work everything went so smoothe, like a dream! My third is 2.5 years old the twins are 4.5. I am speechless of how greate our God is, how merciful, how meticulous in everything he plans and brings to a merry ending. ❤️

As a young woman struggling with infertility. Just know there are couples out there like my husband and I who would do anything to adopt a baby that was “unwanted” or “unplanned” by their mother and father.

I am saddened to hear about your situation. I highly recommend going to your pastor from your local church and explaining the situation. Seek guidance and God's help. See if there is any reconciliation between you two for the sake of the upbringing of the child. I pray that at the end of it all the child will get to know of its father and not grow up without you and your influence.

We were blessed with one beautiful miracle, who was with us for about nine weeks, before God called him home almost 12 years ago. While are hearts have been irreparably broken, we have been blessed to be a great part of the community my sister and brother-in-law needed to help raise their little girls, our darling nieces & goddaughters, who while unplanned to them but were still very much loved and wanted. My husband and I look forward to the day we can see our sweet baby, whom we've named Aiden Taylor, in heaven. 😇

If you would do anything to adopt an unwanted baby then why not just like… adopt an unwanted baby? Its not even that much effort if you don’t try to pick and choose “a good kid,” you just fill out some paperwork. Beautiful song by one of my favorite singers. I was also “unplanned” but my birth mother chose life for me and put me up for adoption. (She was married, had four boys already, and her husband was not my father...) She could have easily had an abortion and no one would know the difference, BUT God had a PLAN for my life. I was a new immigrant in Canada, two months into a permanent job when my husband and I discovered I was pregnant. Although I always wanted to be a mom, money was tight, and the future uncertain as I was also supporting two elderly parents back home, and my only sibling left his job because of a Phd scholarship. I am lying if I say abortion did not cross my mind at that time. But we went ahead with my pregnancy ....and never regretted our decision. We never had another child after...and my son is a well-behaved, charming, humorous guy who excels at everything he puts his mind and heart to. I am glad I trusted God.

I’m listening to this song and crying over and over again. Today is my birthday and I understand that it is only God who saved my life and gave my mum wisdom not to abort me as there were relatives who didn’t want me to be born. They said you won’t be able to raise the kid and your husband has left you.

I was “unplanned” as well and my mother considered abortion. She didn’t know how she would take care of her other children while being sick with pregnancy. By a miraculous chance, I was the only pregnancy which didn’t make her feel sick and consequently decided to keep me. I am forever thankful to God for sparing my life and my children’s lives who would not have been here had my mom made the choice.

This song made me realize that there is a reason God breaks my 💔 for babies, because I have to tell my story of survival. I was born at 25 weeks and it breaks my 💔 that babies are being aborted after the second trimester when I was born. I think life starts at conception. But those who have aborted a baby know God forgives and loves you. My mom didn't know she was pregnant till 18 weeks so I was pretty "unplanned". My mom also did all the wrong things like drink and use birth control while pregnant and I still survived. I was literally a mistake. I was born broken and God healed me and made me beautiful. Pray for moms to make the right choice choose Life. If I can make it against the odds your baby needs a chance. Babies are a blessing from God no matter the circumstance.

i was unplanned,with everything that has happen in my life, i still push through knowing god loves me and he has purpose for my life and my destiny is not over, god has blue print for my life.

Beautiful song. I loved my daughter since I saw that positive sign on the pregnancy test. Ultrasound technology is amazing being able to see the life inside. Seeing the flickers of her heart beat at 6 weeks, seeing her arms and legs dancing around at 12 weeks, seeing that she was a she at 17 weeks, and seeing her precious face at 31 weeks even when all she wanted to do was bury her face in the placenta. She looked just like she did at 31 weeks when I gave birth 6 weeks later. The side by side photos were identical down to the facial expressions.
My baby was planned and I can't wait to meet him but this song helps me when I feel fear about my pregnancy. The creator of the universe is in control and knitting this little miracle together in my womb! Praise God he will be fearfully and wonderfully made!
