Absolute genius Ian Anderson and Lucia Micarelli is just class, the whole piece is so much fun and a joy to listen to, the ad-lib is just superb. I am on with my Grade 5 / Grade 6 flute pieces at the moment and would love to be able to play this as a party piece at band & orchestra practice, just need to find the score to have a go at it...

However, this performance is not classical music. The musicians took artistic license in their inspiration of Mozart, but had no desire to copy him. So, you are correct, their arrangement is "way far from the original," but they did what they had intended.
