I designed this triangle because I wanted to build one for my daughter but couldn't seem to find anything existing that I liked the look of (there has since been a lot of copies but this was the original!). The triangle is fairly simple but I think the key distinguishing feature is the simple and elegant hinge design, it it can be opened or closed quickly without any fasteners or tools.
I would appreciate it if you credit me for the design.
EDIT: Sorry I made an error at 6:43, the second dowel length is actually around 627 mm. You will need to adjust that value to suit your plywood thickness and pocket depths anyway.

Love the design. Clean & elegant. Made 2 for my grandkids. Although I figured out the design without purchasing the plans, I plan I buying the plans to support your design. You deserve it.
Thanks Eytan, I really appreciate the support. I'm glad you like the design and I'm sure your grandkids will enjoy them.
nice work mate, well edited video and simple designed climbing triangle 👌
Just bought the plans Jeremy, your's looks great and I hope mine comes out half as well! Thanks for taking the time.
Awesome, thanks for the support Greg!
hey! thanks for sharing. this is a fresh minimalist look to the typical DIY Pikler triangle. will hope to build one soon.
Awesome work. Having a bunch of hardware on these makes it over complicated.
You definitely deserve a subscription! I'm gonna build this for my daughter. Many thanks for sharing!
Thanks for the support. Please send me a photo if you build it!
Well done! 👌🏻
Brilliant design
I wish i had the tools that you have. I made 1 for my son with limited tools though.
Will create another with this design. Simple and practical.
You should be able to make this with fairly simple tools, good luck!
very nice build!
Congratulations..Really apreciate the design and the way you work..Keep on..
This is such a fantastic DIY! Thank you for posting. Could you add a parts list to the notes? Specifically, a recommended square footage and thickness for the plywood, and diameter for the dowels? Bonus would be recommendations on materials (type of wood, metal of fasteners).
Thanks for the drawings! Made one for a wee girl and it turned out great. I didn't use plywood though, instead I had 38mm pine sheets.
@@tanelvahter831 No problem, that's great to hear. I'd love to see a photo of you finished project if you have one.
Great design, and thank you for the designs
Thank you. Be sure to let me know if you build one!
Mate, great video and great build, wish I had a CNC.
Clever design. Thank you so much.
To problem, glad you enjoyed!
Useful af! Great vid
great design thanks for sharing it.
Thanks for sharing, you can try to make the curvy board
Great video and project! Can you advise the approx cost of your cnc router? Also, how long does it take to cut this sheet with 2 legs? Thank you
Thanks for the comment. Router cost me about $4500. That is mainly parts cost as I did all the machining and fabrication myself. Can’t remember how long the cut took exactly, maybe about 5 minutes?
how much is that machine you used to cut it out, or what its called, pretty cool
Awesome build, gonna make one of these for my boys. Any chance you have these plans in imperial? Or is that just me being lazy to convert?
firebirdxl5 sorry I only work in metric. Let me know how you go though!
Comment s'appelle la machine cnc s'il te plait?
