    very cool!

In your opinion what tires are better? the turf style or ags. Basically doing the same kind of pulling except its usually a dead weight pull.

Depends on your budget. Larger tires will always do better than narrow. And AG tires will be better than turf tires of the same size. But it's always fun to see the face of the guy who spent 3× the money as you out pull him. If your new to my channel look for my tip videos.

Awesome. We have our first pull this coming weekend. Was wondering if you have any information on wheelie bar like how far should they go back past the tires and how far off the ground. And any tips on air pressure in rear tires? We be pulling transfer sled thanks for the bolens video s love them we are putting together a 853 now but this weekend we using a Kubota 2 cylinder diesel

The club your pulling with should have rules on wheelie bars and hitch. My club rule for wheelie bars say 5 inches back from tire and 5 inches off the ground. Tire pressure is subject to change based upon track condition and tire size. Six lbs is a good starting point. Remember that the hitch on the bolens is very close to the rear axle, which made it react completely different than any other tractor I have ever pulled. this will make for an interesting build.

We going to do few more things to the Kubota and she found 2 more pulls closer to us. After that we going to get back on the Bolens 853 build. Thanks for your help. Have learned alot from you.

@@brieannateylar5810 I cut the turf tires which help a lot. They don't bite any better but they are self cleaning. Sometimes they work better other times they don't. I don't always get to pull against ag tires of the same size, so I'm still working out on what surface they work best. If I had the money I'd get ag tires but these work for now.

At this level of pulling most garden tractors can compete and win. It's more about making an unexpected tractor pull good for dirt cheap. If I went pulling in a modified class, I would get a cub

My panzer was bought for 250. I replaced the stock engine with a 420 predator because the output shaft matches the stock pulley, and the stock engine was tired. That was less than 300 at the time I bought it. I got 4 tires and rims for 400. So for 750 and some scrap steel for weights. The engine and tires can go to another tractor if I ever break this one.
