👉Learn Number System With Basics For #Divisibility_Rule and other subtopics like -
👉Divisibility Rule Of :-
1 = Any integer is divisible by 1.
2 = The last digit is even (0,2,4,6,8).
3 = The sum of the digits is divisible by 3.
4 = The last 2 digits are divisible by 4.
5 = The last digit is 0 or 5.
6 = Is even and is divisible by 3 (it passes both the 2 rule and 3 rule above).
7 = Double the last digit and subtract it from a number made by the other digits. The result must be divisible by 7.
8 = The last three digits are divisible by 8.
9 = The sum of the digits is divisible by 9.
10 = The number ends in 0.
11 = Add and subtract digits in an alternating pattern (add digit, subtract next digit, add next digit,etc). Then check if that answer is divisible by 11.
12 = The number is divisible by both 3 and 4 (it passes both the 3 rule and 4 rule above).

Question : 1230X558Y2÷88 then find
5x+5y=?
Solution : 88=8×11
For checking the number divisible by 8 we check last 3 digits i.e. 8Y2 In this 8 is even so we can also check last two digit so we put Y=3 it makes 32 which is divisible by 8 so the complete number is also divisible by 8 therefore Y=3
For checking the number divisible by 11 we apply the rule which states that the difference between the sum of its digits at even places and sum of its digit at odd places is 0 or multiple of 11 then the complete number is divisible by 11
Y=3 then number becomes 1230X5532
Sum of digits at odd places = 2+8+5+0+2 = 17
Sum of digits at even places = 3+5+X+3+1 = 12+X
Difference = 17-(12+X) = 17-12-X = 5-X
If we put X = 5 then it becomes 5-5=0 so the number is divisible by 11
So now, 1230X558Y2 is divisible by both 8 and 11. So this number is also divisible by 88. Therefore, the value of X and Y are 5 and 3 respectively.
5X+5Y = 5×5+5×3 = 25+15 = 40
So, 40 is the answer

For the last question first we find the coprime factors of 88 i.e. 8 and 11. divisibility of 8 provides us with values of y=3,7. And by the divisibility if 11 gives two values of x=5,1. hence the value of 5x+5y=40 on putting the values of x and y.
