I like the value of weapons in Borderlands 1. I remember working my way on finishing playthrough 2 with just using a level 23 Hellfire and a green type sniper. You dont feel "outclassed" and left behind too much in the game even when not using gears that is on your current level
The Good and Bad touch are perfectly viable in UVHM, not just Normal Mode and TVHM. So long as they are equal level to the enemy, that is. They have high critical hit damage modifiers, and they heal you for 2% of the damage dealt. The passive healing effect is especially viable in OP levels, as you do way more damage than health that you have. These guns will always bring you above health gate. Also, the Good Touch can only be acquired after the Bad Touch has been acquired twice. After the Bad Touch has been acquired twice, it cannot be obtained in that playthrough ever again, and only the Good Touch will be obtainable from then onward in that playthrough. It doesn't matter how you tip Moxxi, that is always going to be how the Bad and Good Touch show up respectively. If you have already gotten your Bad Touches for your playthrough, I believe that if you join another playthrough of a player who has not obtained their Bad Touch, if the character who has not obtained the Bad Touch tips Moxxi, a Bad Touch that is of equal level to the highest player in the current game will be obtained. I hope this helped anyone looking for these guns!

You might want to check up on your facts about Good/Bad Touch. Amount of money is actually completely irrelevant. It's just a random chance triggered upon tipping. Bad Touch can also only be gotten once per playthrough and it's always the first one you get (not random)
imho: You missed the Judge (drop from the second assassin in Southpow Steam & Power) - I used that revolver for such a long time, the increased crit dmg, the Jakob manufacturer bonus (firing as fast as you can mash that button) bundled with the insane dmg of a jakob's revolver make this gun really, really good.
I do have a fondness for the Jacob's Gatling Gun line. I liked collecting them, and sometimes using them, especially before I got a number of legendaries to pass around.
Something else for lower level characters that he passed up. When he was outside Tina Tina's place, he killed a Goliath after only one power up. Let them chase you into a field of varkids. Let him kill them and he'll quickly become a God-o-lith. At low levels you need the eridium they drop. Also they usually drop a purple rarity weapon or shield.
They have to continue killing to continue leveling up. Each level makes them more powerful and fully regenerates their health, as well as improving the quality of their loot. Moreover, the experience value of any enemy killed by a Goliath is tripled and added to the Goliath's experience value. A standard Goliath will become a Raging Goliath immediately. Killing enemies will level him into a Badass/Super Badass/Ultimate Badass Goliath respectively. One more level and he'll become a Fatal GOD-Liath, and killing him will yield the loot Christopher mentioned. (Killing a GOD-liath for the first time also yields the 'Goliath, Meet David' achivement.)
A Corrosive Fastball, and Moxxi's Good Touch helped a lot with the W4R-D3N (The constructor that held Roland captive in the Bloodshot Dam) and other robot related/armored foes. Not only that, the Fastball even being at a low level did high damage while I was still using it all the way to beating the game.
Imagine being salty about spoilers from a game released in 2012 lmfao. Roland dies, you kill jack, the final boss is a dragon type thing, Angel works for jack and you kill her, and Face Mcshooty gets shot in the face.
The bonus package is straight up the best weapon to go for in early levels both in TVHM and NVHM. It clears rooms by itself well after rising action, and provide valueable experience that is needed for NVHM. It's effficient gameplay and an overpowered grenade. Though if you're using the sky rocket, it's definitely better considering it's free, but Boom Bewm are worth farming for the experience alone.

You can easily get to max money by having someone give you the money then leave the game without saving and repeat, I remember doing this on the PS3 and it should still work.

Quads don't really spawn at lower levels because they spawn only at blue rarity and higher, and early game there aren't really many blue and purple weapons

Honestly take this channel with a grain of salt as he will turn people away from decent weapons over a personal hang up, for example he won't consider any bolt action sniper unless it already has a community standard that makes it great, which lets face it if you were going by that messure you might as well ignore any sniper made by Jakobs because they already have such a relatively low rate of fire that the bolt action doesn't do much in slowing it down.

The KerBlaster is an AMAZING beginner weapon, can't crit but has crazy high base explosive damage, I got a level 6 KerBlaster on my first playthrough and it was amazing, and I didn't even know about the grenade part of it, I just thought it had really high base DPS.

Great list, I rate the good touch far higher as it is better than any other purple fire smg. I use it as one of my main guns om Maya even in OP. I use the bad touch glitch to get as many as I want till I am ready for a good touch.

The Lance rifles are good at low levels. Usually fairly accurate, good fire rate, they don't bounce around alot while aiming down the gun site, but not a huge magazine. Still a useful weapon at low levels.
It was money covered up by blood coming out of the bandit, making it look orange. There's 3 piles of money on the ground and no orange when he goes around the corner and the drops are in view again.
Borderlands needs an infusion mechanic like in Destiny; where you can take one weapon, and infuse into another to bring up to your current level. One thing I really hated about Borderlands was constantly having to throw away guns I really liked.
Right now im a lvl 15 siren with a lvl 10 Unkempt Harold, Flame of the Firehawk, a Conference Call from a loader ;), Lacaux, and also i have a back up fire bandit machine gun which is pretty powerful at low levels
I just started a new siren yesterday and when I was level 2 I found a legendary reopen with acid damage and omg it's op as hell against low level enemies I used 1 clip and killed fling
Speaking of Jakobs Gatling Guns, I found a great method to kill people with them (Zero and/or Salvatore build only) Instructions for this: Jakobs Gatling gun (Magazine above 20 at least) Two Fang/Inconceivable (Fully spec into and find a class mod to boost it by five) Start firing.
I remember that close at the happy pig motel you need to shoot one of the skags until they drop a level 7 handgun and it was uniqly powerful i used it until lvl 20, its been dropped by a random skag but its been there each time i did a playtrough.
You forgot about the hornet and unkempt harold. The Hornet can be farmed from knuckle dragger in which you walk back and forth between the part where you fight knuckledragger and meet hamerlock. You get the harold from savage lee. Savage lee spawns right next to where you find the crimson raider roland wants you to find. Both would drop in the first 10 kills, or 15 if ur very unlucky.
I legit got the unkempt harold first go, then in about 30 minutes of farming got 7 more, and just recently on a new playthrough got one on the third try.
i know its a legendary, but i got knuckle draggers legendary pistol with no level on it and that lasted me all the way up to wilhelm, even against non-armoured enemies
While it's a limited edition item, I'd also add the contraband sky rocket grenade to this list. That thing is significantly dangerous during first playthroughs.
Yagami Raïto The limited edition upgrade is also pretty inexpensive. Like 1.99 or something. I'm not sure if Gibbed can give you items you don't have the dlc for, I'd have to try it out. But yah, the grenade is available on The Handsome Collection unless you're playing on 360, PS3, or PC. :)
yeah, some DLC are really cheap. I think Gibbed works because the weapons of that DLC are not part of the big ones (Captain scarlett, Mr torgue...). I don't know if people still plays PS3/360 the game is pretty old now.
its funny i was using like level 50 gear when i was level 61 on my xbox save... I recently got my pc back and remembered my xbox save and have been playing that taking a vacation from my 3 op 8 characters... right now i have been playing sniper zero and its going very well.

Tina Sprout I usually just do $100 tips really fast. I've gotten them for between $12,000 and $200. Level doesn't seem to matter.
Christopher Conard that's what I meant. Each tip (there is no difference between 100 and 1000 tips) simply has a chance to trigger it. It's all luck

The lascaux is good in every playthrough. If you know how to use it, it is a beast and it used for hip firing

It’s just as easy to get the Unkept Harold and Infinity pistols. You can get ones at level 9 and they last till almost level 20. Love the Teapot too.

i got lucky with the good touch and bad touch after 19k I got the bad touch then right after I tipped $100 and got the good touch

i know its a legendary, but i got knuckle draggers legendary pistol with no level on it and that lasted me all the way up to wilhelm, even against non-armoured enemies
No level means its level 1.
Yeah its quite decent but there are better alternatives like the teapot or the harold from savage lee
1st playthrough a Bad Touch is always around 15,000 and a Good Touch usually 25,000+

While it's a limited edition item, I'd also add the contraband sky rocket grenade to this list. That thing is significantly dangerous during first playthroughs.

Yagami Raïto The limited edition upgrade is also pretty inexpensive. Like 1.99 or something. I'm not sure if Gibbed can give you items you don't have the dlc for, I'd have to try it out. But yah, the grenade is available on The Handsome Collection unless you're playing on 360, PS3, or PC. :)
yeah, some DLC are really cheap. I think Gibbed works because the weapons of that DLC are not part of the big ones (Captain scarlett, Mr torgue...). I don't know if people still plays PS3/360 the game is pretty old now.

its funny i was using like level 50 gear when i was level 61 on my xbox save... I recently got my pc back and remembered my xbox save and have been playing that taking a vacation from my 3 op 8 characters... right now i have been playing sniper zero and its going very well.

What about the emperor smg? I got that at lvl 8 and have kept it for almost 50 hours now. I transfer it to all my low level characters. Is that a good weapon, or am I just bad at this game?
