Every time I see some D-Low stuff I have to constantly remind myself: This is just 1 human being make all these sounds, holy moly I enjoy the technical battles a lot as well
The sound at 9:48 are throat kick. Basically where you push air up from your lungs but you close off the back of your mouth so the air canât escape. The air is just trapped in your esophagus and I think the sound literally comes from the high pressure air slamming into the closed portion in the back of your mouth. The other thing I wanted to mention to you is lip rolls are INWARD. Seemed like you were making the sound outwards. Basically your lips are tight on one side and loose on the other (the loose side is where you will allow air to flow in). In a sense itâs like an inward trill with your lips (a troll being the sound you make with your tongue when you roll your Rs). The idea is to suck in so there is a lower pressure inside your mouth than outside. This will make your lip want to fold inwards. Then as your lips separate from that, air rushes in and momentarily equalizes the pressure and your lips close. Then since you are still sucking air in, the process repeats. This happens many times in a second, so we hear it almost as one pitch. And itâs not an active thing. Like you arenât consciously moving your lips; you just have to position them correctly and suck in air at the right speed. There are also 2 main forms of lip rolls: those that use your lungs to suck in air and those that just use the space in your mouth to create a vacuum. The ones that use just your mouth cavity are much shorter (since there is way less volume to suck air into your mouth as opposed to inside your lungs) and their pitch varies. With your lungs involved, you can keep the flow of air steady and your mouth/lip position the same. This results in the pitch being the same. But when you only use air from your mouth, the cavity you are resonating (your mouth) is changing in volume as you pull air in, resulting in the pitch sliding down. The mouth only lip roll sounds cooler in my opinion but is also harder. You have to keep your mouth shape correct and maintain the correct air intake as your mouth shape changes. Basically there are a lot of moving parts. With the lung version, nothing really changes other than breathing in. Hopefully at least 1 person found this helpful or at least interesting

To liproll, you just need to an inward kiss, and when you perform it keep your mouth lose and take your jaw downwards during a liproll so that it sounds like the one, and when you master it, just make the liproll pose/stance on your mouth and just try to breath in with that stance and to make it even better, you can just simply add a "b kick" and then liproll
Yo Zerkaa, by the way at 10:12 him taking the cap is a reference to the previous competition when he took his hat, itâs a rematch between D-Low and B-art so that was his dig at him from at home đ
