Soojin was their sixth member she left the group shortly after their 'HWAA' comeback because of false bullying accusations. (Like Kim Garam of LE SSERAFIM) the whole situation was really sad for all of us NEVERLANDS because Soojin herself wrote a letter to try and clarify things and still CUBE removed her from the group. After Soojin left the group the person who came out with the accusations (a famous Kdrama actress im pretty sure) then switched up her story and said she didnt think or remember (forget which) if it was actually (G)-IDLE's Soojin that bullied her. If you go back to the 'NXDE' MV the animated character they had in the MV we all think is Soojin because of the beauty mark on her face, its in the same spot as Soojin's, not to mention Soojin loved Marilyn Monroe and talked about wanting to do a comeback inspired by her.
Also in Tomboy with the whole drinking whisky and smoking was part of the "bad behavior" that Soojin was accused of.

Miyeon used to be a YG Entertainment trainee and was the last trainee to leave before Blackpink debuted. She said she left because she was tired of waiting to debut due to YG Entertainment constantly delaying the debut of Blackpink.
Her leaving before Blackpink debuted is why some netizens referenced her as the member of Blackpink that could have been.
Plus the group photo of her with Blackpink as trainees that surfaced confirms her story.
That always seemed like the diplomatic story to me. As this reactor alluded to, Miyeon is very similar to Jisoo. I think once YG made the decision to downsize Blackpink, they had to choose between the two of them

This next part is based on speculations from Korean netizens...
Back when (G)i-Dle debuted, there was a rumor that Miyeon got caught breaking the YGE trainee no dating rule. Which resulted in her leaving YGE and giving up on K-Pop. Which explains the years she worked as a stage performer after leaving YGE and until her friends convinced her to try out for Cube Entertainment, who instantly signed her as a trainee.
In early interviews, the other members of (G)i-Dle talked about when they first met Miyeon they thought she was an instructor and not a trainee due to her skill level, presence, and attention to detail; which came from her years as a YGE trainee. Soyeon also said that she was happy that Miyeon joined them because Cube Entertainment would not let them debut without a Korean main vocalist.
@@joenull5945 That is not Miyeon's story. Miyeon's story has been "We don't really know who's gonna debut". The speculations about her breaking the no dating rule was also proven wrong because it was more than a month when she leave when the rumor of her having another trainee boyfriend trend. But it was confirmed that their debut was delayed about 3 times so the other trainee left because of that.
@@elevengeass2374 This is what Miyeon said and not the OP's post. People forget that these girls became a trainee at a very young age, and to have uncertainty in where they're gonna be from the time they sacrificed can really put a toll on someone.

Yhe "Queendom" version of "Lion" was what made me Neverland. Consider it was the first official time the song was performed for the public. As to guides, I prefer the out-dated "Rise of I-DLE", though it is probably too long for a video to cover, but *very* informative of their rise to where they could take over the industry. Great reactions!
(G) I-DLE is my favorite group. First of all, they are incredibly talented, and they make amazing music. What I like most about them is that they make their own music and are always involved in the production. (G) I-DLE are known for talking about topics that are controversial in Korea and put a lot of emphasis on lyrics.

Fun fact : Miyeon was supposed to debut with blackpink and she's also close with Lisa and Jisoo.
Jisoo and miyon they used to be trainees together and they used to be close even with other bp members and she was gonna doubut with them but yg siad that bp supposed to be 4 members not 8 so they did actually let her out of the group and she left yg but she still friend with lisa she said that on intrviow
Everytime i see new fans saying “who is that?” whenever Soojin appears my heart breaks a little more 😭.
Someone already explain what happened so I won’t repeat it. The whole thing was honestly so unfair and heartbreaking for the girls and neverlands (fandom name). G-idle will forever be six for me. I really hope that in the future all six of them can come together again. Given that Soojin was proven innocent in court and I’m 99% sure idle won’t renew their contracts with CUBE (their trash ass company) when they expire.

Love that everyone sees Soojin as a visual when she wasn't even the visual of the group.
Official visuals are Shuhua and Miyeon but yeah. Soojin is one of the most beautiful woman I've seen, physically and mentally. She is a literal angel. Everything that happened to her still pains me today. She had to leave the group in 2021 after a scandal (that was now settled). She had something in her that attracts you (which is funny since she plays the role of the devil that attracts the girls in Oh My God), everyone loved her in the industry as well. She was the main dancer, overflowing with charisma with the sweetest smile. She seems really charismatic, sexy and full of confidence but she's actually a real shy person as well.
Anyway, sorry for rambling about Soojin, I just love her so much.

Miyeon was a YG trainee with BP members and being main vocal, we can guess she was highly vocally trained with BP Jisoo, so it may explain the similar feeling in their vocals. She is still in contact with them, especially BP Lisa (who also close friend with Minnie, both being Thai it may help ;) )
Soojin left in August 2021 after being on hiatus since March 2021 due to accusations,
To sum up the scandal:
- the first accusation came from a middle school former friend B (actually from the friend's sister A) where the relationship became sour (ended being friends during middle school due to repeated no-show from that friend B), the sister A accused Soojin of many misdeeds but the only confirmed one was: Soojin swearing on call toward B out of anger because B broke a promise, A heard that and took the phone and death threat Soojin (A was around 20 Soojin around 12...), The rest of accusations like b*llying B or hitting B were not proven, but them (A and B) lying to defame Soojin couldn't be proved neither (it was too long ago...) the case was stopped due to no evidence from either party, the lies from A about B being traumatized that A couldn't listen to I-DLE or being sick because of that have been debunked/proven false (A released a stream where she actually danced happily one of I-DLE songs knowing the steps and proudly claimed that she death threat Soojin.... The sickness of B was a inborn sickness so it can't be caused by a trauma due to middle school...)
- the scandal became big due to a celebrity C known for being b*llied who where in the same school as Soojin (but not same class not even same floor in the school...) In enigmatic message she seemed to pointed that Soojin was at fault (the message was released right after the scandal start), but neither mentioned her name nor even respond to Soojin company calls... The celebrity C never stated anything clearly and only used the timing to let public thinks that Soojin was bad, some people stated that they actually contacted the celebrity C and C declared that she was not even sure if Soojin was actually the one who hurt C... (Like how she can't remember and still accused Soojin and using her, C, being famous to defame Soojin?!)
- several anonymous people accused Soojin, with hazy (false) "evidences", there are two infamous anonymous accusers: one who declared that their jacket was stolen (but the model of the jacket the accuser talked about didn't even exist at that time...) The second is an old man (around 10y older) who acted like 7 of Soojin classmates using the class photo book pictures (token from different angles) as "proof", he claimed after that people pointed out that it was the same photo book for the 7 accusers, the man claimed that he lied just for "fun"...
- lastly it has been reported by the school that Soojin was actually a victim of b*llying and was frame as scapegoat during one case on middle school (case solved during middle school already)
In the end Soojin had to left because people on internet accuse her without knowing anything, death threat her and her family, and hurting the whole group
She likely left because she need to heal from the unjustified hate and to protect her group (to not let them suffer from that)
Neverland (real ones, both old and new) love and respect Soojin, she really stands out for herself, her group and her family, she stay true to herself and did not apologize for something she didn't do just to appease haters hate
All members still show love for her in subtle way (6 balloons out of the trunk in TOMBOY, TOMBOY rap, Polaroid and Escape song, Nxde dedicated to Marilyn who is a big role model to Soojin, animated character with the almost same mole as Soojin in Nxde MV, reactions on Shuhua or Minnie during concert when fans kindly showed them Soojin pictures, reactions when they hear her voice in their songs before 2021 "I'm the trend" during fan meeting, MY BAG and MAMA 2022 Soyeon rap,...)

Cube Entertainment gave into cancel culture and forced Soojin out due to allegations that she was a part of a bully group in middle school, even though there was no evidence and the people who accused her recanted their stories, of her being a part of the bully group, after she left Cube Entertainment.
That makes me so sad😭 i really like her!! I wish she was still a member.

Soojin's departure from the group was super devastating. If you follow their other stuff like v-lives, variety shows and interviews, you'd see how they all had such a strong and natural bond with each other. Especially Shuhua and Soojin. In a group of really wacky members that are all extremely weird and out of pocket (in the best possible way) Soojin was the quiet introvert that all the girls really depended on. So it was such a joke that the scandal that ultimately caused her to leave the group was completely unsubstantiated allegations of bullying back in her MIDDLE SCHOOL DAYS.
Anyhow, when all of that was going down, the members were scattered back to their home countries and there was a real a question as to whether or not GIDLE would survive. But somehow, they pulled together and came back with TOMBOY and then just skyrocketed. GIDLE is a very special group that's so near and dear to my heart. Because in some ways, they almost shouldn't even exist. They come from a kinda shitty company, they've had to do almost everything on their own, including writing and producing music, they're now majority foreign members (it was evenly split when they were still 6), they're NOT the best dancers, and all of this in an environment in which the competition among girl groups is absolutely INSANE. Like c'mon, there's ITZY, AESPA, IVE, LE SSERAFIM, NEW JEANS, BLACKPINK and TWICE are still active....it's actually insane. Yet, this plucky group of weirdos somehow managed to carve out a place for themselves in the market through Soyeon's genius and the group's sheer force of will. They are so so special and so so rare.

New Jeans - "Hypeboy" official music video. They're a 6 month old girl group under the same label as BTS, and the current talk of the town. Every kpop artist is dancing to this song. You have to check it out.
The other girl group is "XG - Shooting Star" they're fairly new as well, but they're a japanese girl group who also promotes their music in South Korea. they rap, sing and dance. They're songs are amazing! They are insane! I promise you'll love them. You should give them a chance.

Soojin had to leave the group because she bullied in her middle school. Soojin’s legal representative has made a statement announcing a close to the lawsuit against her school bullying allegations.
Hope it’s noted that there was never any proof about it and the person who stated she was apart of the “bully group” took it back and said they were mistaken or whatever implying it wasn’t true.

Soojin was accused of bullying but it was finally discovered that it was all false accusations by Shin ae, since then nothing has been heard from Soojin.
