    The proximatey to our SMBH and the central bar I suspect to be relevent.
    The galaxy rotates and gravity organises it. Like gravel in a bucket, the smaller particles fill the gaps between the larger ones, so the bucket is most dense at the bottom....theory.

    Oh my God I can't take it!! It is pronounced "pul - sar", not "pul - sir"! And you just have to rub salt in my wounded ears and repeat the word a bazillion times...
