AutOdometer use LA’s totally awsome stuff works amazing on taking out stains find it at the dollar store for a buck
AutOdometer ~ A serious question! I was chronically ill and stuck 9n bed for over two years. My nephew started using my car to get back and forth to work! He had a car seat in the car for his child, no problem. HOWEVER...without my knowledge or permission, my nephew decided to use my car for “fun”...his idea of fun included trips to the desert with friends and...smoking (which I do not allow in my home or car)...smoking things legal as well as illegal...if you understand me. He was banned from my car when I found out. My car went from having less than 2,000 miles and looking brand new, inside and out...to smelling and looking disgusting! On the ceiling in the back seat in the drivers side...there is a FULL, black hiking boot print! He says he has no clue how it got there!, where the car seat was, God only knows what that mess is all about. I am scared to death to drive because if I get stopped, though I’m 55 and never even had so much as a speeding ticket...I din;t want the odor of pot to get me busted! Any recommendations to clean the inside AS WELL AS remove that smell? I’m too old and tired to go to jail. I don’t now nor have I ever smoked pot!
Angel For Animals that was quite the roller coaster - have the car detailed 😂

Wow i haven't seen seats like that in a loooong time
This my 1997 Chevy Lumina Base model. The seats cleaned up nicely with that cheap extractor
@@AutOdometer beautiful car friend I have a 1984.....
I don't mean cloth seats I meant seats with that particular design I do car detailing
@@AutOdometer do you still have your Chevy Lumina? Chevy doesn’t make their vehicles like that anymore. Your seats are better made than most modern cars.
I got similar seats in my 86 Buick Regal
1st buy spray
2nd get brush
3 get hot water extractor
4 then clean
That car makes me wanna shower just looking at it.
😳
I have one that feels like a huge pice of toast on the inside. Now, imagine sitting in that with shorts and a t-shirt.
@@AutOdometer don't worry mine is same gona clean it now 😂😆
@@alexandercurtis4427 filthy ass
😂😂
I did this on my car when I first got it and the water came out black even though the seats looked clean, so I definitely recommend this
Did you use the same hot water extractor he has?
They probably dropped coffee or coke whoever had it before you. I did the exact same thing on my bronco and water was black too
Really! Wow Definitely buying for my new sectional then
all the fart is in there
haha, friends father had a chair with th same problem
Lol
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
kinda weird but fax
LMAO
i got a bissell hot water extractor used one time still in the box at a garage sale for $5 and i love it. thanks for the video.
I'm only 2.44 into the video and I'm amazed. Awesome job. I need this for my husband's F150. His seats needs a deep clean.
Best video on this subject. I used this method just with soap and water and a wet vac instead of an extractor and BAM! Looks good again.
So... many... farts... Well done! Turned out amazing
Haha thanks. Good job on that work van. I just watched it. I have a whole line of cars I needs to detail the interior.
No offence but did you mean facts?
@@benjaminkim1 don't you fart when you drive?
wow that before and after is incredible!
Yoooooooo JB... yeah man it was pretty wild

This video is very satisfying. I loved the noise of the extractor made me sleepy 😊

Same here staci, its 12:30am and its making me fall asleep haha
So satisfying! Great work. Thanks for the trouble and time you took to offer this vid!
This video is sooooo satisfyingly 🔥😍😂 I'm gunna try this on my 1984.....
That was very satisfying to watch.

In car industry before, they used to use good fabric quality. Now they make seats with pure shit.
Good work, by the way.
Yeah this stuff cleaned up really nicely
indeed that is when material.used to last way past warranty. todays seats if your lucky they last 2 years.
My 2014 Mazda has 93,000 miles and the seats literally show no wear. And I camp a lot with it.
Even my crappy '05 Chrysler didn't show much wear on the fabric in the seats but the leather and pleather did look bad, which is one of the reasons I really avoid pleather and leather.
Is that why my pants are always stained when I get out? Thought that was me.

That looks sooooo satisfying thank you lol
I'm so glad I seen this!!! I have the cold one coming today. I'm going to return it and get the heated version instead; thanks!
amazing job!! i have owned a few bissel steam cleaners through the years! they never let me down!
Nice job man! I used to have one of these little shampooer vacs and all they really do is spray water and soap down and vacuum it up. Pretty sure I can get the same results with a spray bottle full of hot water and a shop vac. I don't have an outlet at my apt parking but I do have a cordless Milwaukee shop vac and plenty of batteries.
Truly amazing! What a great demo! Thanks!
Awesome. Very good results.Thanks,friend.
Thank you!
Wow, great video. Thanks!
Amazing difference-night and day isn't a proper comparison-wow! Very helpful video!

So satisfying wow
This is amazing
Just what I been looking for.
Amazing, and amazing how people can let their cars get so nasty over time. Good on you, looks great!
Woe dude your videos are awesome. I can't wait to get myself a hot water extractor. Great useful tool. I make cleaning my car a hobby.
Yeah it’s still a hobby for me I’ve just put a lot of money into it so far and I’m hoping to starting making money from it
Great video 💜
Satisfying💗
Sold, heading out to buy one rite now and do the cream coloured carpets in my Holden caprice. 🇦🇺🇺🇸✊✊✊
Captain Kaos nice ride.
The real question is... how do they look after they dry? That's when stains that have penetrated into the foam underneath, seep back through the fabric and bring the surface stains back.
Hypur Nova then you just go over them again but youre getting all that dirt out so can only be good thing
SMARTrides i have a 2011 ford fusion with beige interior what can i use to clean mine? i set anything down on the seat and it makes water spots like if somethings cold and causes condensation so idk how to clean it
@SMARTrides if you don't oversaturate it usually won't wick too bad.
This is Jamaica loved the video good job 😍😍😍😍😍😍
Headliners with smokers "dust", that grimy looking fuzzy stuff that builds up by the windows? Found out it comes right off with blue painters tape rolled up in a ball while helping deep clean a new car for my son's new ride! Like grabbing cat or dog hair! Worked awesome.
People that disslike This video, dont like clean seats

That's is awesome!! I just got a 96 Lumnia with the same color interior. This works very well. Thank you. I do have a question have you ever changed the air cabin filter or the headlights. I have the Haynes repair manual and both of these in the book are incorrect. Do you know how to do this? If so please post a video. I know I would really appreciate it we had to do that. Thank you again great video on the seats.
What do you have to say about that extractor? Is it any good? I'm considering to buy one and I wanted to know your opinion. Thanks
Well done ✅👍👍👍👍👍😊
These are so satisfying to me
That smile ..good lawd
Question: after drying the cloth becomes hard. Does a little diluted spray of fabric softener make it soft?
it's so oddly satisfying to watch 😅
very satisfying to watch
Thanks!
Dude, take your sweet sweet time. You'll get better results, also use a oxy clean for both hand and machine. For best, 'Like New results, unbolt the front seats and do them outside the vehicle(get errvathang). Also giving you total access to the carpet, don't forget to do the same thing the seatbelts, door panels, and trunk. Scrub pedals and trim, I like using leather wipes to refresh the trim, then wipe w/ damp microfiber along the glass. I know the dash lights are majority 194/T10 type in GM, easy and cheap af to upgrade the clister and control lights with LED. Can get new headliner material and 3M adhesives/promoters from a craft store, new headliner is like the icing on the cake, full interior LED upgrade are the sprinkles, window tint would be the cherry(CA here). Cost efficient diy upgrades, that'll help sell it quick and probably get what you paid for it.
Bro it sounds like you know what your doing! Thank you I am relatively new at detailing and I really really like comments like this. It helps me get better and improve my content
Oxy Clean washes away sins it’s so good. 👌🏼😂
@@TheLydiaM If that's true I need to take a bath in that stuff.
@@AutOdometer Hey bro I dont know if you've ever done interior Led lighting on a car or truck or whatever but it makes the car look 100x Better and you can get 10 T10 Led bulbs for like $14 and their very bright. The ones I have in my cars n trucks cost that much and they are from a company on Amazon called Sirius LED. Might help the resale value a bit.
@@AutOdometer just be careful about removing front seats. disconnect the battery and wait a while (c10-15mins) for the system to discharge. most modern cars will have weight sensors and airbag sensors (and god knows what else if they're heated/massage seats) in the seats, you unplug them with the battery connected and deployed go the airbags. (this is true in my car, a 2005 Ford Focus, the Mk2 pre-facelift as i live in the UK)
a couple of people i know have learned this the hard way (the Mk2 focus is a common car here in the UK, so it genuinely wasnt me) 😂fortunately I tend to keep my car relatively clean and don't need to do a "seats out" clean that often.
Watching this is so satisfying, I need to get the hot water extractor. I’ve been trying to remove a stain in my vehicle for the past 4 years and the stain keeps seeping up even when I cleaned it multiple times.
Link in the description to the one I bought
AutOdometer I appreciate it :D this helps a lot
Stop farting in it.
Steve Wtf sounds like a shart if it’s causing stains. That ain’t me, you probably did that one day since you’re bringing it up. I threw up in my car because I was drunk, but I’m surely investing in that vacuum to finally remove it completely.
@@777violett 😂😂 Lmao I never done that and I dont even have Cloth seats because those are for bums honestly. That throw up is gonna be a real pain in the ass to clean lol.
So satisfying to watch ❤️
Thank you!
@@AutOdometer Can you show the vacuuming in real time for those of us into ASMR. As it was the water extraction combined with the sound of the vac motor was very relaxing to watch.
Michael Roberts hmm well I was eventually going to do a 20minute video session of no fast forward and just extraction
@@AutOdometer Thanks, I'll look forward to that.
Wow this is great for my OCD lol

@@onesteeltank i agree. a lot of people say they have ocd when they dont even know what real ocd is.
How often did you use the hot water? I have the same extractor and am about to use it on a car tomorrow. I've used it a few times in small areas but never a whole car like I'm planning for tomorrow. And did you add the hot water to it? I know mine doesn't actually heat the water, it just has a fan to help keep it warm.
Awesome!! Great job. I could watch cleaning videos for hours!!👍
I really want a carpet and seat extractor. But they're also very expensive. I think the cheapest decent one I could find was like $600. And a pretty good one is well over $1300.
Whats the name of that tool that vaccums and wash at the same time?
Does is also dry the seat after u did with the steamer or not
Well that’s was oddly satisfying lol
I like seeing these 90s box cars being cleaned up after time, those seats are so comfortable too, do you plan on maybe also detailing the exterior by any chance?
YYEESS!! It has a few rust spots and clear coat peel spots that I plan to tackle as the weather gets warmer
How can people dislike this
I know right. Thank you lol
You should get a drill brush. It gets the fabric agitated better to get the dirt up for extraction.
Hi the seats are very wet after ? How long is taking to dry ?
Can you use an ordinary vacuum/ hoover?
Would a vacuum work good enough in place of the hot water extractor? I'm not exactly looking to get every ounce of dirt. I'm just tryna get a rough clean for now.
If your vacuum can handle water then it should be fine. Some people use a wet shop vac for extraction. I have also seen people just spray cleaner and wipe with microfiber towel and then let dry.
what's the brand of the vacuum machine bro?
Looks good! Can you use that diluted cleaner on carpets too, or do you use something else?
most use carpet cleaner for the seats and carpet
What do you put in the tank of the machine?
Can I use it on my home sofa, is it safe and are their any chemicals that can be damaging?
Good job... my dogs are messy and big.... will try your ideas
That's why seat covers exist
Not everyone can afford seat covers, or care; some ppl.are lazy; maybe the stains are from kids, babies, dogs, LIFE, and the car is 15 years old ...? Light blue - might as well have white!
Good review and instruction on the Bissell spotclean proheat. This extractor is without doubt the best of its price range. However, this model is not a hot water extractor as you describe it. You put in hot tap water yourself and the extractor simply helps to maintain it's temperature during the cleaning. 👍🏼
What was the spray that you used?
So Im really thinking about getting an extractor. Not for professional use but just to clean up my car and maybe my couch. So how did this one hold up? Is it still working? Or if anybody else has one.
Still working. Just some water stains and such. I clean it thoroughly after every use.
What machine u r using?
What do you think about that Bissel extractor? I want to get Bissel Spot clean pro, witch is little more expensive and has more powerfull electric motor. Do you think your Bissel is enough to properly extract all of that dirt and water out of seats ?
It’s not the greatest but it extracts really good. I wouldn’t say any extractor under $500 gets all the dirt out. If you are looking for an extractor under $200 go for the one the detail geek uses. It’s the Bissel Pro with the rounded look. For an extractor in the $500-$600 go for the Sandia 5100
I like front split bench seating.
Yeah I miss it. Wish more cars had this now days
@@AutOdometer
None do sadly and it’s such a shame. I believe that’s why the Ford Taurus and Chevy Impala were discontinued. What’s the point of a large sedan if it has the same legroom as a mid size one due to the stupid counsol!!!
When did you sell the Lumina, sorry to hear about your loss : (
@@AutOdometer
Nowdays too with trucks we’re starting to see that having front split bench seating doesn’t garuntee a Column shifter anymore either sadly.
Edit: oh wow I was here a year ago.
Any extractor does the work
Amazing job....now carpet?
Watching this i feel like Monica Geler. So satisfying!!!
..link is broken, what is the model number of the Bissell? cool video..
You sprayed the degreaser in. Does it not need to be rinsed?
What kind of shampooer you using
Think Meguires makes a new Carpet and upholstery cleaner. Ive also tried the Turtle wax stuff too.
NightHawk J30 how did the turtle wax formula work for you
Young Bandit TBM it worked good removed some stains and has Pleasant smell to it.
When u drop icecream in your seatz
And don’t clean it up for 20 years... lol
Check out my new video where I basically do the same for leather seats
Try up to 7K and even more for a professional one. This is definitely worth it for it's price the professional ones have huge thanks more suction hotter water and stronger motors but this is good for a detail here and there.
Could you steam treat the foam in the seats to restore them?
Well I guess I could. I don’t have a steamer but I’ve been wanting to get one
Do you add degreaser instead of the Bissell formula in the water tank?
I just put water in the water tank. I use a degreaser APC spray and agitate beforehand
How does the extractor, powers by.
Get a drilll brush helps a whole lot
What is that purple stuff you are spraying?
Please send link for the professional one
Steam clean the seats in conjunction with the carpet cleaner for best results I find
Sometimes it’s just better to have a professional to the job. This was a good video I can’t believe how disgusting it was great job
I'm not paying someone 300$ to do the same job over and over when I can do it for free
Whats the model of wet vacuum?
It does look like it's been removed, but... the soap sometimes is left in the material, so it looks a lot whiter. You won't know the stains are gone, until it's dried....
What year, model, make was this vehicle? I’m 17 and am looking at buying a car. Thank you
Never mind :) just seen it in another thread. Is she a reliable car? Awesome video btw!!
Bought it in 2009 at 89,000 miles and put maybe $3-$4k in repairs and it’s now 185,000 miles
Tim Hanby well hold on, what car is it?
Orion Durdaller I believe it’s a 1997 Chevy Lumina Base Model :)
@@AutOdometer Damn Chevys are junk. I have a 2nd gen Cummins and have spent $4,500 in parts in 8 years 275,000 miles I've owned it.
Does the vac add water or just suck up whatever you put on the seat since it looks like theres a lot of stuff being vacumed compared to what you put on there
Yes it squirts water before the scrubbing action and then sucks it up.
