From Nov 1991 until he retired from the Bulls in ‘98, a Jordan-helmed Chicago never lost 3 games in a row. 626 straight games.
Jordan has held the playoff high of 63 points far longer than Baylor held the previous record of 61. Impossible to fathom as defense has disappeared in the past 5 years.

MJ has an average of 5.3 APG per the whole career.
In 88-89 plays more games (24 in the regular season + some others in the playoff) as the point guard and he was averaging 30 points, 11 assists, and nine rebounds (and this in the conditions that in the last matches before the playoffs, the coach introduced him under 30 minutes per match). In the first game as a point guard, he has 15 assists. In the direct match with the Lakers, he had more assists than Magic.

In the late 80s and the 90s, there was both emphasis on real defense and tough play.

Jordan wasn't great as a professional baseball player by any means, but what pisses me off is that 1) he was held to his greatness as a NBA player and for some reason he was expected to be that great as a baseball player too!! 2) Michael Jordan retired from basketball, walked off the Hardwood and on to a professional baseball team despite the fact that he hadn't played baseball since his junior year of highschool and made the cut and the Triple A roster!! Name me 1 other athlete in the history of any profession sport who won 3 straight Championships and they retired from the sport where they couldn't be touched skills wise by anyone they played with or against then retired to pursue their dead father's dream he had for him growing up and then walk onto a professional team in a sport they hadn't played since he was 17 years old and is now 34 year's old and made the starting roster and then retired from his secondary sport to rejoin his basketball team again and still was the greatest player in that sport bar none and then messed around and 3 peated AGAIN and then retired for a second time only to return at the age of 39 or 40 yrs old and join the worst team in that league and turn that team into a playoff contender despite the fact that he was the only significant addition to that team and turn that team from the worst team with one of the worst defenses in the league into a top 10 defense and he did every bit of that with basically 1 knee and missing the tip of his index finger on his shooting hand!!!! NOBODY AT ANY TIME IN ANY SPORT EVER DID ANYTHING REMOTELY CLOSE TO THAT!!!! So I'm sick of hearing about him being a horrible baseball player because to this day NOBODY HAS EVER DONE ANYTHING CLOSE TO WHAT MICHAEL JORDAN ACCOMPLISHED IN THE HISTORY OF PRO SPORT'S PERIOD!!!!!

@@timmorales1569 people need to learn how to separate "My favorite player" from "The Greatest Player Ever"!! Larry Johnson and Kevin Garnett are my favorite NBA players but they're not better than Michael Jordan!! My game was most like the way Grandma-ma aka Larry Johnson played which is why he's my favorite but Jordan is untouchable!! In baseball Jordan has a batting average of something like .228 give or take which isn't horrible but when put into perspective of everything I listed and he only played professional baseball for a little over 1 season before the MLB lockout happened and for him to even do what he did was absolutely a miracle!! Baseball was my best sport to play so far as how good I was on the field so I know what it takes to accomplish what Jordan was able to accomplish in a very short time for the White Sox D3 team

@@curtayars7344 I agree 💯 but jordan just so happens to be my favorite player. I wore his number all through school. Back in the day there were many to chose from with all the legends they had. My brothers was also LJ. When I was younger so many kids had their own favorite player bc of the reason you said it matched their game but they all knew who the goat was and it wasn’t ever a comparison. There was no confusion on who was the best in the league and Jordan always held his self to the standard of greatness even when he spoke.

He doesn't usually try to dominate immediately, he'd just go off when they need the score, usually on the 4th qrt, or when he has taken something personally 😂. Also, if you've seen old games, during his 1st couple of years, MJ had a lot of great passes that were not converted and he found that he had to takeover because he hated losing, that habit carried over to his later years.

Well that's a misconception that Jordan didn't pass because everyone just focuses on his offensive highlights. He averaged a triple double when he played point for the Bulls, averaged 11 assists in the 91 finals, has a career high of 17 assists & also averaged 8 assists one season. if you watch whole games from the 80's especially against the pistons you would see why MJ took it on himself to make bad shots when he was double and triple teamed! No disrespect to Scottie or Horace but i've watched them grow and both of them never made it to be mentally strong to finish the play. They were awesome at defending(Pip) and rebounding (Horace) but they were never dependable scorers. And even so MJ learned to share the ball, just look at him in the stretch he was put at the point, or just check his '91 finals stats against the Lakers when he was coached to involve more his team mates after the game one loss! Better watch the whole series as well as the '93 finals against the suns. Just observe the production of the Pippen-Grant duo that after these many years went on a crusade against him! Even though nobody would ever know them or at least remember them after 30 years if it was not for MJ! Don't believe me, just watch the games!
Anyway, nice observations and reaction! And btw i watched Kobe and for me personally he was the closest to ever get to MJ and he kept me interested in the NBA formore than a decade, but growing up watching MJ i never saw anything that i've already seen before, so for that reason and some other lesser ones i have them MJ at top and Kobe at number two spot.
    Good luck with your channel!
