My question(as a self admitted Nuggets fan) is how do they get better to beat the Nuggets? Trade some defense for a couple of good stars to play with ANT? Or the smarter choice would be find some talent with their picks(maybe flip KAT for a 1st), and try to build around a 22 year old developing superstar. They need a vet to compliment ANTs ability to drive, be funny if they got Embiid to pair with him but honestly there isn't too many bigs that would actually help them currently in the league.
@adampepin9944 No I'm not saying Denver called, I'm talking about the fanbase of Denver! And the way we made lots of noise to pressure the change in ref style to a much tighter style. That's not usually how the playoffs is reffed, but times are changing and people want more offense now. So I applaud the league listening to us and changing the reffing to limit MN's defense. It has really turned around the series for us.
@Shnozzeltaff I'm not a MN fan, I'm a Denver fan for life! I think the league knows we want offense basketball, not defense. It's just more exciting. And brings in more viewers, so it makes a lot of sense what the league did. For more than one reason, it makes sense. I'm just really happy about it because the timing was perfect for us, cuz I want Denver to win another chip this year!
@Shnozzeltaff I love that Jokic is finally starting to get superstar treatment in this series, too! Everything is coming together now and I can tell the MN is even afraid of defending him so they're letting him score to avoid the and-ones. Cuz if they try defending Jokic they know that whistle is coming and it'll be 3 pts instead of 2. Smart move on their part to just let him go to the basket.
I really like how the league stepped in after we went dow 0-2 to MN and nullified their D big time. This is an offense league now, it gets more views. MN would have been good in the 90's but this is 2024. We wanna see Denver win, draining open 3s!! Thanks NBA for fixing that, it was annoying those first two games.
I think the league saw that game 2 officiating was incredibly 1 sided. Yeah that was physical good defense from MN but on the other end the Nuggets could not touch anyone
Timberwolves a 1 man show (ant) and that kind of play don't win chips scoring 44 just wears u down mentally and physically when you don't end it with a W because u constantly have to score with no inconsistencies cause the other 4 are stagnant cause ant have to have the the ball all the time you cant spread the floor with that iso ball play ain't no I in team or (antman) explains 44 point performance don't win games with out help
