*Plot Summary*
During the late Ming Dynasty, Emperor Chongzhen ascended the throne and decisively dismissed the influential eunuch Wei Zhongxian, along with his followers, in an effort to revive the Ming Empire. However, this move alarmed various rebellious factions across the land, who seized the opportunity to cause chaos.
