    Thank you! I’ve been hesitating on buying the Alo Mat because of the price but thank you for this review 💓

    Thank you for your review, it really helps me decide to buy Alo mat. And i am totally agree with you, i'm using Manduka and Lulu mat before and i think Alo really is the best among those three..

    Nice video! You should try the B Yoga Mat , is so grippy it’s insane.

    Thank you for your honest review! I was wondering, how would you compare the yoga design quality with olie or alo? Have you ever tried the rubber version of yoga design lab?

    Thank you I was undecided between the Olie & alo and this video has helped me decide… I’m going to go for the alo, I have one last maybe strange question… I’ve recently ruined a new yoga mat because I left it in a hot car all day while at work and went straight to yoga after with a warped, curly cooked rasher of bacon like yoga mat! I’ve never experienced this before, my old yoga mat never had a problem with this. Do you know if the alo could sustain the heat in a car on a hot summers day?

    Thanks for the review! For me, nothing compares to the Jade Harmony mat when it comes to grip. And grip is my #1 priority. Not into skating unless it's in a rink (which I associate with Manduka mats. I will say Manduka has a new mat - the GRP Adapt - that sounds interesting). I've wanted to check out the Alo, the B Mat and Lifeforme. Nice to hear your take.

      B Mat is my absolute favorite mat! Have you had a chance to try one yet?

    Thank you so much! Gonna check out Alo ...i get really sweaty and really need a good grip! This video was so helpful! I've been watching so many reviews..but you compared it perfectly for my needs! I was so close to buying the Manduka, but I read so many mixed reviews about it!

    I was on the fence about the alo mat but this video convinced me. But, it has a rubber smell. How do you clean your alo mat? Or how long until the smell went away?

    Hi there, love the colour of the alo mat, did you say the colour is called smoky quartz? Only on the website the Smoky Quartz looks much lighter, like a rose gold. I prefer the colour of yours. Thanks for great video

    Hi! Using the Manduka Pro mat for years now and it's just not grippy enough. I'm stuck between there Alo mat and the Liforme mat... Would you say they are grippy even when not sweaty? Now that you've used both, do you like the Alo or the Liforme better? Thanks so much!! 😊

    • @amarathompson
      @amarathompson  Před 3 lety +1

      They are definitely grippy when not sweaty and generally just much more grippy than manduka. The Alo mat is the grippiest mat I’ve used (I can use it in hot yoga with no towel) but I also love the liforme for it’s a alignments and it’s still very grippy! Hope that helps x

    How long lasting is the alo Yoga mat?I heard the mat surface peels off quickly?

    • @amarathompson
      @amarathompson  Před rokem +1

      Hey love- yes I completely agree it definitely didn’t last as long as I hoped and the more I started to practice inversions I actually found it was a little too cushioned to get a grounded feel. I actually love my liforme mat at the moment
