When I was studying at BU English Lit around 1970 we had seminars and were sometimes invited to the professorial homestead. One was memorable. A water bed in the middle of the floor and shelves of books on every wall surrounding it except the one window with a wonderful view of downtown Boston. The female students seemed quite impressed.
