The only time Randy Moss wasn’t the only Freak...
Slade F two freak of nature athletes on opposing teams. Gotta love it
@@user-nz6wj4ot5o Randy Moss MVP
Jevon Kearse
Even though the Vikes lost this one, it's still nice to see the NFL cover this one. Have only seen choppy VHS footage of this game. Nice to see it this clear. Please keep videos like this coming!
youre the infamous vikings game uploader , i love your shit bro
That TD pass from Moss to Culpepper though. The penalty made no sense to me. VIKES got robbed.
NFL covered this game because of Michael vick!!
One if the best games I've evervwayched
Damn Crumpler and Finneran were low key BEASTS back then
Yes they were
Finneran had butter fingers
Well, I wasn't all that impressed with Culpepper at least in this game.
@@neo7566 Alge Crumpler was the tight end for Atlanta
@@neo7566 would say the same but that O line didn’t help him much
5:07 I miss Ed Hoculli and his short stories trying to explain a ruling to everyone.
"Back in 1932 the rulebook was invented.."
I honestly don't mind the referee explaining why they make a call
I would say one of the greatest NFL refs of all time.
@@bocagoodtimes1460 His son is now a ref.
The one ref that can define wat a catch is nowadays lol
Vick changed the game of football forever
He also changed the game of Madden for ever lol
Lamar owes him a huge thank you
Ryan Brown no he don’t bitch 😂
@@QuiltHoncho yeah ok Karen
Because he became the first black quarterback! BLM!
vick is so quick it is ridiculous
Don Solo imagine him an offense like Lamar Jackson. Vick is fastest, quicker, and has a much stronger arm. A career of what could have been.
@@QuiltHoncho in his 1st 2 years tho bro! Barely be talkd about 17 years from now...
@@QuiltHoncho Come on man, give him some time he'll get better he still real young under 26 i think.
Bryan Layton Lamar didn’t loose it by himself .. lol
Bryan Layton I’m in Atlanta got Matt typical QB ( good not great) when we loose its everything but him according to some . But guys like Vick/ Lamar it’s them lol 🤔
Vick the legend :) greatest qb run in NFL history I'll never forget it
Makai Brown how bout now
@@captainfangle2245 He still the best player in Madden history. Put some respek on dat name #7VicAtl
Very true but records are meant to be broke lol Lamar going to be up there
Lamar Jackson would like a word
@@zjtheking23 Lamar is on the decline. He’s a one truck pony. Yes he exploded on the scene but soon he faded. It’s the NFL, not college. Freakish athlete but run first QB’s don’t make it in the NFL.
I remember watching this game live when it aired back then. I remember Michael Vick on the front of the Sports section in the Atlanta Journal-Constitution the following Monday.
I am really enjoying the content. The NFL has plenty of years of footage that some of us were not even born yet to see first hand, to truly appreciate the greats that help made the game the way it is today
I really miss that Fox scoring sound effect at 15:15
Donavan Mcnabb , Mike Vick , Daunte Cullpepper , And Steve McNair those where the most interesting QBs I’ve seen
Man, Vick was so fun to watch!!
15:00 iconic run
Glad I ran across this channel. Vintage classics.
Michael Vick will be my all time favorite dual threat qb but I find solace in the fact that today's game has incorporated today's dual threat QBs and what they excelled in while at college into the game better than ever before.
Lyric X yup watch out for deshaun watson this season
@@jarrettlewis5527 watch for justin fielss
Thanks for this man. Hope to see more old falcons games on your channel as well as other classics
Seeing the 2 viking defenders collide after vick splits them never ceases to amaze
I remember seeing this game at my local bar and when Vick scored the TD in overtime a Vikings fan flicked his cigarette at the TV and walked out. And I may be a lifelong Vikings fan but I gotta laugh every time I think of/see this game because of that. 🤣
🤣🤣🤣🤣
Even tho I didn’t start watching the NFL until 2010. I love watching old videos like these games that will go down in history no matter how many games are play out though the years of the NFL thank you for videos like these even tho I am a Cleveland Browns fan from Houston I enjoy games like these.
I'm a true Michael Vick fan!!! I love Michael Vick!!! He's the best dual threat quaterback ever!!!
And this is why the falcons were a cheat code on nfl street 2 🤦🏼♀️
they seriously need to bring back the nfl street games, those are some of the best video games ever

Plays like this. Makes u n
Become a legend and becomes high lights for many of years.
I feel like they had no scheme just lob it to the best WR or the QB runs with it...good game tho.
Why so serious ? The falcons team in the early 2000s is mediocre at best, the wide recievers were bad at catching and the offensive line can’t block. I don’t know how vick survive with that team
JIGOKU KIRĀ because he's the greatest playmaker to ever play the QB position
@@JIGOKUKIRA Yeak Vick was freestyling. Falcons never gave hom receivers or an o-line like they gave Ryan.
@@JIGOKUKIRA imagine pretending Roddy white and alge crumpler were bad
Mike Pence the only two good receivers out of an entire offense
Why did Alge Crumpler fall off into obscurity? That dude was such a beast from like 02-07 for the birds then he just disappeared
As a Bears fan both the Falcons and Vikings have brought me here. Two nice superstars at QB slugging it out in Minnesota.
Damn 173 yards rushing from a Qb and Vick was selling out away games like crazy. 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
I remember watching this game with my mom she was a huge Viking fan and I was a huge falcon fan this was a great game great memories the ups and downs crazy game
Enjoy it while your small because your channels going to get really big
And that's why Im a vick fan..
I will never forget that game, Vick showed out!!!
The game has really changed. Haven't seen that many under center formations in a while.
Lyric X lol for real though. Looking at LaDainian Tomlinson highlights and so many formations with a fullback
MikeBNumba6 Lol fullback?! What's a fullback? They're extinct now replaced with athletic lineman.
MikeBNumba6 some halfbacks like Tomlinson like having fullbacks (Tomlinson’s FB also happened to be Lorenzo Neal one of the best blockers ever) in front of them, just less of them require one these days because they didn’t have one in college. Melvin Gordon likes having a FB in front of him for example, he almost always has one in the game when he runs it, because he had a FB almost every play in college. Back in the day Barry Sanders was one of the first guys to request no FB and that trend kind of grew from there. But it’s up to the halfback as much as anything.
Problem with those coaches. Especially ATL. If QB’s like Vick and Culpepper has today’s rules and the offensive College style play calling they would have dominated.
They had coaching staffs coaching against their interest.
@@b.e.r.nnetwork8251 There are still fullbacks.
The NFL was so much more entertaining back then than it is now
Remember watching this, good game
Interesting how Culpepper and Vick both turn the ball over multiple times and you don't have the announcers pitching a fit for the backup QB to come in like what happens today.
I watched this game when I was 8 this TD in overtime was unbelievable lol
More of these please.
Michael Vick is my DAWG!
Just hope you’re not his lol
Be careful man he might kill you lol
@@thesaltjspodcast No he won't, he will pit him up against other dogs.
I really miss these days of watching football and playing madden. I cannot imagine how many hours I invested into both back then. Such fun, happy times
This was on my 10th birthday never will forget it. Vick was a human highlight reel in his prime.
Vick was the real deal. Changed everything with the NFL and mobile QB's. No disrespect to Randall Cunningham.
13:05 it was only a 5 yard gain but Moss’s catch was SICK
That penalty that cost the Vikings the game winning TD made absolutely no sense. Never heard a penalty like that.
“Vick had unrealistic skills best scrambling QB ever definitely a hall of famer.” 🏈 🏃🏿 💨
RIP KEION CARPENTER!!
How did he die?
He fell and bumped his head
I have this game on VHS as well as a few others with Vick. Go Falcons.
I miss Alge Crumpler
Yeah very underrated falcon player even falcons fans dont talk about
He was the shit in like maddens 04-06 lolll
This was a great time to be a NFL fan: duo halfbacks, freak linemen, and every team had at least 3 stars other teams had to scheme around.
Remembered watching Culpepper and Vick at QB and thinking these guya are the future of the NFL. Damn shame it couldn't happen
They didnt do great for most of the game
I was talking in general
Overall they were terrible quarterback’s but outstanding athletes. Never had the mental capability to be great quarterbacks.
@@tronlorne9328 vick wasn’t terrible
Let me find out our corners 🔒 up moss love my dirtybirds I remember this game I’m 37 now been a falcon fan for 20 something years good ol fashioned football right here miss football in the mid 90’s to early 2000’s Vick will leave you sick ❤️🖤💪🏾🙏🏾💯
Mike Vick was so frustrating and exiting to watch as a Falcons fan. He would miss a read and have a wide open WR but not see him, but on the next play he would drop a dime to a double covered WR. Then he would take a sack while missing his check down, but on the next play he would take off for a 40 yard run. A true rollercoaster experience.
Vick the best QB in my eyes he always killed my Panthers but he was left handed could throw on point and his legs unstoppable and he a lefty
Vick with the 17’s on🔥
Culpepper is my top 5 QBs. He was big and fast and had a slinger
I just wanted to point out the bizarre Andy Reid-Andy Richter comparison Slim Fast joke from the commentators at 6:04. There's no context, so it caught me off guard (and absolutely hilarious for that very reason haha).
15:04 Vick: Did you all forget about me 🏈💨
Just imagine if Vick took time to study the game. He was freakin electric
Special teams mistakes killed Minnesota. In addition, It seemed that Culpepper had little time to throw.
Mike Vick... was awesome.
The two best teams in NFL Street
Football will never EVER be the same, thanks Democrapsv
Smh
If that play with Culpepper and Moss counted.... Man
10:27 I know it is a risky throw and an interception, off the back foot and under pressure, yet Vick still threw it effortlessly for over 50 yards while being injured.
I do remember this game to the end and overtime then Vick ran to end zone to end it😳😮😋
I've never seen so many interceptions and fumbles in one game. Looked like backyard football
Dude was so quick lmao
Wow look at these uniforms. Well the Vikings look pretty similar to today.
Lyric X The Falcons got their new logo in 2003. They’re still using it since then.
That intro is forever iconic
always iconic. i loved that NFL sunday theme music.
3:35 I forget exactly what the Falcons called that post-INT celebration, "Passing the Voodoo" or something like that.
That early 2000s Atlanta Falcons Defense had a lot of tough, talented players. Not sure if it was a coaching/scheme problem or lack of discipline, but they could've been a lot of better and more consistent.
Still haunts me to this day.
Culpepper had a great arm. That being said, no awareness nor pocket presense. He held the ball in one hand when sifting through a collapsing pocket. He never looked at two sidelines on one play when checking for receivers. If they could have held on to Moon long enough to teach him this, the Vikings might have won two more games per season.
That's why he was a fumble machine
Im a new sub, would love to see some giants tape!
The last play was incredible.
I just came here to say nice u pun
Made me laugh😂
So... it wasn't Vick that cost the Vikings the game... watch closely:
13:29
It was an illegal formation penalty. Wow.
J. A. Greene that was such a bullshit call.
And that run by Michael Vick that we see so often never should have happened.
Fuckery.
Randy moss threw the nicest touch pass in this highlight reel.
"The Almost Inhuman Speed"
Most exciting player in nfl history if he had throwing part in Atlanta they would have won a super bowl like he did with eagles he was the best video game player on madden and 2k
Can you do falcons Vs Bears week 6 2008 ?
6:10 that Andy-Slim Fast joke would get you cancelled today
I don't think Vick's problem was ever "inaccuracy". He could pinpoint throw a fucking rocket. His issue was decision-making, and hesitancy in the pocket.
Bryant Mckinney was our first round pick and didn't play til week 9. We had no time to throw this game
Michael Vick is my favorite quarterback.
1. Mike Vick
2. Lamar Jackson
3.Aaron Rogers/Bret Farve (it's a tie)
4 Cam Newton (I know he's been injured but he was fun to watch)
5.Russel Wilson
H/m
Kyler Murray & Tyler Heineken both could be the future.
Atlanta Falcons beat Minnesota Vikings 30 to 24 fantastic finish in overtime with just 12 minutes and 35 seconds left it was the biggest win in Falcons history and the biggest chokes in Vikings history 2002 games matchup
14:44 - Look at that one-handed sack tho..Culpepper and the RB blocker were taken down and Daunte was like 260lbs.
Can’t believe ppl say randy moss only ran one route 😂
That was a freakin laser by Vick to finneran at 2:58
Gotta give it to Minnesota defense in the first half limiting Vick runs and good containment but it's only a matter of time. And then some of those Randy Moss plays that dude wasn't even on the screen on one of those and came out of no where and made the play. Good game to re watch even tho I'm a bears fan bored at work needing something to watch.
i think these - the mike Tice era is the most charismatic the vikings have ever been... always secretly like them
Can you guys upload Ricky Williams 200 yard rushing game against buffalo bills in the snow 2001 or 2002 please nfl vault upload that
That's a walk off folks.
Ah so refreshing to see the metro collisuim still standing before it collapsed. And I'm a falcons fan

Culpepper was such a screw up
Your head is round.
15:18 "Let's get the hell outta here, boys"
Video game Vick!
13:30 holy shit imagine if this play worked
If it worked, then Vick’s most iconic run, never would’ve happened. That’s what people forget.
Brady Smith dominated this game on falcons defense. He was next to culpepper every play
Lol, don't be Rickdiculous Morty!
The falcons breaking the Vikings heart again 🤣🤣classic
