I definitely think this is possible. He said that he used to be a college athlete so chances are that muscle memory played a huge part in this. We also have to take into account that he was following a strict diet and training regiment. This isn't the kind of results you can really get if you just started lifting weights. This is more so the result of an ex-athlete benefiting from muscle memory and strict diet.

Crazy transformation! If I managed to transform my body, everyone can do it. Diet is a crucial thing, without it exercise won't help at all. Many beginners struggle to find a proper diet because they want fast results and they end up with no results at all, less money in their pockets and health problems. I encourage you to do a research and find a diet that will work for you. If you still don't know where to start, try nextleveldietnet or dietarize as your starting point (first one comes with workout plan which I find convenient as it doesn't require going to the gym at all). This way results are guaranteed. 💪💪💪

    This is awesome!
Just a heads up to people with excuses...you do not need an expensive personal trainer and gym to achieve this. That is great too, but far from essential. What is important is:
    - A will to change
    - Keep going, even on the days when your mind is trying its hardest to make you give up
    - Spend some time researching fitness
    - Focus on resistance coupled with high intensity (calistenics is magic for those who want to avoid the gym)
    - Pick a diet that works for you. My preference is keto in combination with calorie control.
    - Stop trying to cut corners. It is hard work and determination.
    - Give up alcohol. I know it is hard, but once your body gets stronger your senses will wake up and the lust for life will be switched on.
    - Sleep! It is key.
    - Stop being a punk. Work hard. Next day...repeat.
    - A well planned training regime will have you training for less than an hour 5 times a week
    - Diet is the most important factor, so do not have cheat days. Junk food, alcohol, late nights is not a reward, it is stopping you from being the best you can be.
    - Have fun. Relax. Work hard. Good luck!

The one thing I have never understood are people who call it a fail if things don't go exactly as they planned at the gym, or elsewhere. It's never a fail if you keep trying. Not every day is going to be the best day, you have to have the off days to enjoy the days where you do really well, if you didn't, you'd never realize the difference.

Anyways 18 % most likely should look like a person with a slight visible belly fat. Moreover u can also check it by yourself. Just google 18% body fat men and check and compare with the pictures you get.

For those who think this is impossible remember:
This gentleman was a D1 Athlete at one point, so it may have taken a little less for him to get back into shape, but it doesn't undermine the amount of hard work he put into it. Set your goal and stick to it! Your mind dictates what muscles you put on.
DIET, DIET, DIET. working out for 90min can be a brutal workout, but the remaining 22 hours and 30 min of your day defines how that 90min was spent.
Don't get dissapointed if you dont see results in the mirror, it takes 8-12 weeks sometimes to see results (8 weeks in my case). Keep it up!
And most importantly....it's all you...ALL YOU BABY. Get your ass to the gym and don't be afraid of the weights. The weights are afraid of you when they see you walking through those doors!

For a while I had an unhealthy relationship with food. I saw it as a reward and indulged in alot of junk food etc. The key that changed everything was now seeing food as fuel for the body. The first week is the hardest but you'll be surprised how quickly it becomes a habit and easier. Then it's smooth sailing.
      Diet: 2100 calories..Protein:200 grams, Carbs:150g and Fat 80 grams.
3 meals a day, no snacking. Last meal at 8pm, intermittent fasting(16 hours) and started eating again at 12pm the next day. No sugar, occasional coke zero for sugar cravings. Lots and lots of vegetables(you'd be surprised how full you will be). Download My fitness Pal app and buy some scales to measure your food. I drank 3-4 litres of water a day sometimes 5 on hot days. The water keeps you fuller.
Also I would consume most of my carbs in the morning and before lifting, no carbs for dinner.
      Training:
Training compound movements 5 to 6 times a week, with the emphasis of maintaining/increasing strength on Squat, Bench press and Deadlift by lifting in the 2 to 8 rep zone.
HIIT was 30 seconds sprints, 30 seconds walking for 10 minutes, 3 times a week.
First month you will see a huge drop off the scales(alot of water weight) then it stabilises to around 0.1kg a day. You will have few days or a week where your weight will not drop, don't stress keep going.
I used this website to calculate how many calories I need to consume, based on height, weight, age and activity level.
      www.sailrabbit.com/bmr/
Hope that helps, if you have any more questions feel free to ask. All the best for your weight loss

You don't have to train like some kind of pro athlete pushing a damn sled around like your about to go to war haha. If thats what he enjoys more power to him. I didn't have any coach. I just ate what seemed to be better for me. I have high liver enzymes so I base allot of what I eat around that. No more white bread empty carbs etc. Whole wheat, very little sugar and no processed foods at all. I am also getting stronger and bulking using just cable machines and press machines etc. A push pull leg routine. 6 days a week.

Glad I found this post Victor.
You have been the first example (live or drawing) that matched my body fat percent and my look.
I have been confused for months seeing guys online at 20% with visible abs or 30% with gut and fat everywhere, not finding anyone matching my specs.
My fiancee and I are committed to a 5am working out for the process and fun. We have been lifting since November, and moved to a consistent 5am schedule in May. It is nice to see strength grow every month for us both,... But there has been a yearning to know "what is possible" and what a lower body fat will look like on our bodies.
I thought a weight loss goal down to 180 would be good, closer to high school and college size. But I only learned at 30, that I was super underfeed and living a super low calorie level. My current strength, with rare exercise is dramatically greater, versus my extremely athletic high school and college schedule.
I have been stuck between 17-18% body fat for the six months I have been using a scale and between 215 - 220 lbs. Almost no fat anywhere you can use calipers, only my stomach and nipples. Scale consistently reads at 180 fat free body weight, so 200 and at least under 15% has become my new goal. Today I find you. Today I see what what my body type at 218 , 17% down to 200, 10%. Today I feel like I now have a good model for expectations for myself.
I see some comments below thinking you must be closer to 25 or 30 at the start... I think they are assuming a body that stores fat on thighs and butt. Maybe it is because I have been battling extremely low testosterone for 8 years, but for me (and maybe for you) my ass didn't exist and my thighs and calves are super lean. Everything is on my gut and just enough to pinch on at my nips. My arms and legs have visible vains all day, muscle definition is present everywhere. Not cut or striated, but nice lean curves. Not sure if you relate, but I think other's are confused, because like me, they have not been able to easily find examples like mine.
I rarely drink and rarely eat junk. Maybe 2 corn syrup drinks in a year. But this "beer belly" persists. And, I see 70 year old guys at mall or airport, with super lean legs, arms, necks, no butt,... But look like they are in third trimester about to give birth any day. I definitely don't want to be that guy. I hope we can all educate each other so everyone feels they do have a choice.

I think that was perhaps one of the best transformations ive seen, well done man. I don't know this for sure ... but for all the people saying 'But he started off in great form', i would say honestly reflect if your saying that subconsciously as a way to tell yourself you can't do it. Humans have an amazing capacity sometimes to come up with excuses, sometimes were so good at excuses that we don't even recognize were doing it. If you want to carry on that way who am i to say you should change, otherwise no matter what shape and size you are go out there and do your best... you may not reach the end photo within 3 months if you have a different starting point (especially if your not being honest with yourself about your diet and routine) but you'll get to something your more proud of today, that is presuming your all here for self development

Muscle memory is 100% legit! I’ve played football my whole life and was a 3 star football athlete in highschool and used to be able to bench 275 and squat 405. But covid came and took access to the gym and didn’t have a senior year of football. So I got fat and stopped working out BUT I just got into it again. After 1 month I’ve gone from 23% bodyfat to 20% body fat. Bench went from 135 for 2 reps to 195 for 1 rep, squat went from 145 with shitty depth to 225 with parallel depth. It feels good to feel like an athlete again!

So basically you added 3 lbs of muscle and lost about 20lbs of fat in 3 months. Very impressive.

Eric Bee for sure.. but also mentally.. like fast food is like an addiction for me so I'm glad I stopped before it got bad. Now I'm pretty close to considering myself athletic again

wAveURonKiLLcAm thats great man! I only eat out once a week and its rarely fast food(ie carls jr or burger king). I noticed its easier for me to keep to my healthy diet during my work days then my off days. Need to work on that

Eric Bee weekends suck bc if you dont have things planned out then you end up just lying around and constantly wanting something to snack on to FILL that void of your empty life 😂😂😂

50% was a change of diet, the other 50% the will to go beyond and reach this goal. Mad discipline and mad respect to you brother, keep it up! I'm actually studying to become a personal trainer and a nutrionist expert, always makes me glad see people do these crazy changes. Well done and go you!

Bruh $300 a week on fast food. That’s $1200 a month, roughly $14,400 per year. I don’t know whether he’s loaded or whether he was stupid. At least he is way better off now 👍

Its "easy" guys. Just find a good nutrotion and workout plan or hire a pt like this guy. And buy trenbolone, masteron, propinate, clenbuterol, winstrol. And some workout. Thats all :)
