due to poor timing you weren't able to pick the story before in the music video, but that resulted in the best reaction to the end when you realized, it was so funny LMAO. i think now its safe to say you would love monster by irene and seulgi from red velvet, hope to see the reaction in the future!
One thing you missed (that a lot of reactors do) is that there is no one girl trying to help him escape. Each shot we see during his escape it's a different one of the girls with him.
As I interpret that part is how all of them take each one of the pizza guys one by one .. so their killings are killed by them on rounds as the implication of the magnificent loop they had to lure the pizza guys and having those tshirt trophies 🏆

Always remember, Red Velvet lyrics do not always match up to the video. Most of the time there is two separate meanings. The quick meaning for the video is, they are part of a dead coven, that needs to resurrect. They do this by killing delivery boys to take their life essences.
The MV is a lot of fun - it’s a slasher short story. But do yourself a favor and go back and listen to the song. The vocals, the instrumentation, and the arrangement are really engaging.
Lyrically, it’s a straight forward pop song with a “falling in love is a children’s game” motif. The visuals, obviously, have more of a literal hunter(s)/prey presentation. But even musically, the song -especially the hook - is almost un-melodic: it’s very staccato and verges on discordant.
And that’s why I’m such a fan. I love their velvet side (Psycho, Automatic, Perfect 10, Bad Boy, Beg For Me, etc…). But I love their red side (the more pop side), too, because there’s always something askew to grab my attention.
Red velvet's concept is one of the darkest ones ! They are one of sm universe villains.
Hahaha I knew u were gonna be baffled with those last scenes where the girls exchanged their places to give the pizza biy the impression of saving him, so that they can catch him running, just like their game :O
Thank you for the reaction! What I love most about this MV is this second when they take of his blindfold and you can see Wendy looking at him with this strange look that just tells you - she's gonna do something to him. But then the camera immediately switches to the dance again.

I love how creepy and dark the song and mv are!!!! This is one of my favorites from them! "I Just" is my favorite but this one is up there too!!! Lmao you trying to figure out this mv is hilarious 😂
Dude, the lyrics and the visuals don't always have something to do with one another. 😄 In this video, they're a death cult or coven that uses victims as they're source of life and youth, but they don't just kill them... they like to play with their food.
The one delivery guy is a representation of the many who've come before him and the girls routine of taking turns luring them in, toying with them, letting them think one of the girls is helping them to escape but just as he thinks he's in the clear, is betrayed... ending with yet another trophy in their case.
Red Velvet are masters of having songs that are a fun light hearted bop... while the visuals have a sinister undertone or, as in Peek-A-Boo, are flat out homicidal.

The one girl, who is helping him to escape is not in love with him. It's just a part of their game and ritual. One girl always gives a hope to their victim pizza guy, but kills him in the end. When pizza guy is running away with that one girl, we can see that the girl holding the hand of pizza guy is changing during their running. This means that they did that trick many times. They don't just kill those pizza guys, but hunt and eat them, because we can see in the MV that they put gems on pizza instead of eating it. So they order pizza to hunt and eat pizza guys. And they do this ritual with pizza guys only on a full moon.

I admit, I'm a radish (moo) but I love Red Velvet, they have good voices, now how to do haramonies and interesting concepts, even more so when they go 'dark' like this song.
So happy you finally reacted to this one. One of my favorite songs and music videos. Such a crazy concept. I love the foreshadowing where they are walking thru the house and you catch a glimpse of some glass cases with polo shirts in them. Former pizza boys that didn't make it out, hehe. In the end, his shirt was added to the collection.

DG i think than they capture multiple pizza delivery man . and each of the girls as probably fall in love with some of them . but the other girls constantly kill the guy . when one of the girls try to save one of the pizza boy . at the end we can see than many guy are missing .so i think than they're all psycho and all jaleous if one of the girls fall in love they try to kill her . we see that in the MV they also try to kill each other .
