This is by far probably the best Clone Wars stop-motion I've seen. What really stood out to me was how you did the air battle. Oddly enough, you're the only one I've seen doing it with miniatures rather than full size ships and the results were amazing!

Yeah, unfortunately I wasn’t able to do much about that due to lack of experience and lighting inconsistencies. However, I will aim to improve upon it in future :)

The squid people are just from the Lego CMF line but I thought they would make interesting opponents for the clones :D

I wasn’t sure if it would be best suited being before or after though, as Obi wan mentions Krell meanwhile we see Boil as an ARC trooper :)

This is amazing I love this kind of story in the clone wars invasion of a planet that the seps control but there’s not a whole lot of droid is the planet soldiers that are mainly fighting and also you need to make a second part

How did you get the voices to sound exacly like they do in the clone wars and movies? I am doing a stop motion too (not anywhere near this level) and cant find out how to get the voices to sound like they do in the clone wars and movies.

For the weapon glow i shine a small coloured finger light on the subject and for the laser itself, I use GunmovieFX which is on the App Store for a small fee. It’s a bit outdated but after a bit of practice you get the hang of it

I make some myself, so I wanted to ask you which app you use to make the shot effects? Also, I wanted to ask you how you do the clone voices?

I use Gunmoviefx for the lasers. The voices are from CZcams :)

First of all, I absolutely loved this video so much. I am an aspiring lego stop motion creator and have been using all sorts of stop motion apps. As someone who trys to do stopmotion, i was thinking "that scene must have taken hours! And that audio editing mustve taken years, throughout the whole video! Please tell me how you make the minifigs fall without visible clear studs/bricks! It looks so smooth and cool! I love the custom designs and backdrops.

How I make my mini-figs fall depends on the action the character is doing…
For example if a trooper is jumping out of a Gunship I will use clear pieces that will only be visible for a single frame or two which means they won’t be seen unless the video is paused.
If a character has been hit and is falling over, I will use a bit of tac on the rear of the figures foot which will support the weight while the figure falls down

What FPS do you typically use? I use 15 fps which seems to work fine. You could try that maybe?
@@superior_firepower my videos' fps often depends on the amount of frames it uses. I typically don't have the attention span to do over 80 frames 😅 so the amount of frames determines the fps. On my most recent, "anakin joins the darkside video" I used 7 fps because I wanted a slow pace for the ai audio to work.
