Curry does not need to pad his resume any more, but if he reaches the point where he wants to leave Golden State, that's on Warriors management. If he leaves, he has to accept that he'll be a hired gun and likely the additional piece to an established roster. Additionally, it will be hard to find a team that will spend willingly to get Steph as a rental and risk hitting the second apron, or still have enough pieces after trading for him. He'll have to get a buyout and sign for the minimum or midlevel. Nope, there's just too much incentive for Steph to stay in San Francisco, the Warriors are likely not done with their offseason moves.

That being said I like consistency in the nba. I like fans growing up rooting for certain stars and long term contracts with no trade clauses that allow players to stay long term and build a foundation for their lives on which they can grow old and raise families.
That being said it’s funny as hell these guys always wanting Bron to get one more but when Steph has a chance to get one more, they’re like “no relax it’s okay. You don’t need another one! Just be mediocre!” They really don’t want anyone surpassing their idol lebron.🤣

The Media, social media, and us as fans are the issue when it comes to this topic. We have put so much stock into in who should win and tear down players when they fail to win each year. It’s easy for Rob to say, you don’t have to win every year, but in the same breath drag that same player through the mud when they don’t. An example is Paul Pierce said he is not surprised that LeBron has been dominate and thinks he still may be the best player in the league. That’s ridiculous. Paul knows this is not normal. But it’s also ammunition so if Lebron does lose, he can say Lebron should win. Players today are just in a lose-lose situation.
