Jessie showed a great sense for adventure, never baulked at the eel😂 , never whinged at all ( at least not on camera 😂) . Looks like she will take after her dad . All that hard work and nearly back to the car and tipped the kayak upside down, oops. Another great video Chris 👏👏👏👍

Dear Chris Bamman, Great adventure and video as always. In my part of the world, we don't normally track on the river bed due to the phenomena call "head water". See at time stamp 30:49 a tree fall over across the stream and it could create a dam with accumulations of debris. If overnight, upriver there was heavy localised downpour, that said dam became full and breached. See, if we were tracking on the river bed on sunny day, trickle flow of the stream downriver. Suddenly a wall of water or "head water" gushes over, very lttle time to escape. Water can move boulders. Just sharing. We normally camp above the gully ridge and tracked above the natural watermark. Well it is in the tropics. The hikes would be very slow and ardous.
appreciate the concern friend 😀 this river doesn't have a very large catchment and the weather forecasts showed no rain on the horizon, def wouldn't camp low if there was any risk to us here :) im sure things could be very different in the tropics 👍👍🍻🔥🌍🐟

Took my daughter on many trips like that but no way did I have the patience to muck around with a smoker! Just fed her up on caramello koalas and 2 minutes noodles while I surfed deserted point breaks and she explored the rocks and scrub. Enjoy mate, goes quick.

Truly enjoyed watching you pair . The adventure getting to your destination is all part of the journey . The sad part is packing up and going back over your steps , knowing what's ahead of you . What a tragic ending 😁😁😁🤣🤣🤣🤣, to travel all that way , keeping your gear dry , makes for a good camp , but to turn turtle 20 feet from home plate , what a bummer , but something to stick in the brain box for a beautiful camp trip .
