I love him so much. I first found Henri Nouwen because of his book "Following Jesus" and it was early on in my walk with Christ. He taught me a lot. Bless him.

This feels like Resurrection! in heaven 23 1/3 years but with us now! SAD how he used 2010 as his projected year of death but left 16 years sooner....... He helped many due to his struggles. In this pandemic may our struggles help others.

what a man , and what a faith- just so sure of the emotions and rejection we can feel over and over, and just hang on to the fact that I am truly loved by God. We need to listen to Henri N over and over , and believe all that he says

On track - disappointed he stuck to Roman Catholic theology -its limiting
It's solid and wholesome. Quite the logical end of ponderings.
As G.K Chesterton said,
"Merely having an open mind is nothing. The object of opening the mind, as of opening the mouth, is to shut it again on something solid."
You can apply it to your own path. Truth is truth. Bottom line …..in all ways,has to do with love. That’s the core of it all.
