thank you for your personal take on this footage, as a child i remember seeing this disaster on television and something today just reminded me about it. ive been reading and searching the net for articles and information about this terrible disaster. i only wish the park would honor these children who died for nothing...
Great Job on this commentary Mr. Smith. I myself watch this and shake my head for I myself work as a Safety Inspector and have a degree in fire science. There are so many red flags with one BIG one being that you can't make a attraction out of Highway Trailers and lack of available exits. Sad thing is that deaths from negligence will continue to happen as long as cost outweigh safety. How much would it have cost to make a safer structure then to continue to use storage trailers?

@gonzaeri000 I think it's possible either way. I never "heard" voices, it was an overwhelming feeling, and odd thoughts, not the ordinary. Over time, they were pervasive, stronger, and always the same message no matter how it came through, "Tell our story, Tell our story."

I'm going to assume this video footage is from 1984? Or was it a few years afterward? I'm unsure of how long the remains stayed there before they got rid of it.
Is there any footage or pics showing the inside of the ride before the accident ?

Where can i find pictures of the 8 teenagers that died? Because i'm making a memorial altar this friday (Mayy 11). Awesome video and THANK YOU for share this tragedy. I'm sure the 8 teenagers are happy that the right story about them is finally out for people to see and hear.
TO ALL VIEWERS...for some reason, this video has the tendency to be a bit off as far as the exact matching of the voice over, and the film. It doesn't do it all the time. If it happens to you, I'd say clear your cache, or restart your computer, and it should put it back to the correct timing. I have no idea why this happens, and it is quite confounding.
interesting video. I read your e-book as well. I have read other reports about where the bodies were found and they made it sound like the bodies in the "death trailer" were in two groups. One group had their faces pressed against the air duct grate and a few others down further spread out with one in a seated position. the other body, was found face up in the next trailer. Can you confirm?
now I have idea what the phatiom fence looked like. Wasn't sure if what you use was what the editer gave you. The roll barral window look like from what I can see rear car axle, the more I know the better I am (Have computer on a game Minecraft to try and make the haunted castle can't say that will be 100% right)
