Komal Nishad focuses not only on preserving and spreading Hindustani Classical Music, but also wants to focus on preserving the baithak format for concerts. Most of our concerts are organized in the baithak system, where the audience is sitting very close to the stage and there is free-flowing conversation between the artists and the audience. When we edit our videos for CZcams uploads, we try to retain most of these conversations. The idea is to give our CZcams audience, the same feel that one gets at a live Komal Nishad baithak. Thank you so very much. Such uploads give us a feel of the concert hall. Somehow the first part of Raga Des was missing, but we should be thankful for what is available, i.e. Panditji in his early sixties, I guess, with his vast repertoire and experience and also fit enough to go through the rigours of a long solo programme.
