GHK really needs to step up after VFC made their gen. 3 replicas. For that jacked up price it should have decent champter and NPAS. Forged body is nice, but I use my GHK for like 5 years with propylene (Map pro) even during summer and so far theres nothing I had to replace. Videos great, keep up the good work!
Quality video as always. Quick tip for reducing the wobble of your handguard. You could use barrel shims for that issue.

As for the bucking, I think it's a default GHK bucking. But you can replace it with any GBB or AEG bucking theoretically, including innerbarrel. I would go for 80+.
I used to run a promethius Kriss Vector inner barrrel in my M4. Worked like a charm!
But for the feeding lips, it's required to file them down. For me, I found that out - the hard way.

Regarding the bucking, it's a GHK proprietary thing. However, they are pretty much the same as a VSR bucking, but with different alignment blocks. What you can do is shave off the side alignment tab on a VSR bucking, and it's going to nicely pressure fit in the chamber.

I used my ghk m4 I got in, I think 2014. It worked great. Still love it. Gave it to my lady as she's starting to play :D! (Reaallly my excuse to get a new gun, went with the MWS this time.) GHK was a great gun. I've heard bad things about recent QC stuff, but my experience wasn't that. With your wobbly rail, look at your barrel nut and see how the screws from your rail are sitting on it. I find that some barrel nuts just have them sitting on the face of the nut, which allows the rail to rotate a bit. I made a couple of dents, I guess you'd call em? in the barrel nut so that the screws have somewhere to sit, and give some resistance to curb that bit of a rotation!

I never owned a GHK gun because of the QC issues, my friends have always issues with their GHK out the box, it’s a shame because the MK12 looks so cool!
If one day, GHK is doing a good QC, why not, but now, i stay with my TM MWS AR/AK and my VFC M723/HK53 for the moment.
i own GHK MK18 and M4 cqbr forged receivers and no any issues with them, i think the AK’s have the most problems with QC, the new V3 is an disaster
you should try the PDI W hold buckings for the new GHK 2022 edition hop up, that's what iam using in one of my VFC uppers and it's working really nicely so far!

I have the mk12 and I will say my biggest issue with it currently is the hop up unit for sure. I've replaced mine with a Maple leaf and the actual unit is too short and will cause play in the outer barrel back to front, so keep that in mind if you do plan on going that route. I'm also having issues with it hopping anything currently, but other than those issues I'm still liking the rifle!

@@123456kiste right! That being said I do like working on gbbrs more than aeg's it's kinda like a puzzle. That being said definitely should expect quality out of the box.

I can give you a tip, how you can solve the Handguard wobble.. You can buy shims, that are made to fit every type of outer barrel and space the outer barrel properly against the locking surface of the Handguard.

for winter, give their co2 mags a try. i sold all my ghk green gas after discovering them.
I suggest you to use TNT Hop up Chamber, unicorn competition version 70 degree hop up rubber(if you always play outdoor and use heavy BB, 80 degree is much better) and unicorn 6.03 inner barrel.
But need to do some adjustment on this setting.
This is the best setting I use on my GHK AR system.
All my GHK ARs can hit a 3 x 3 cm target behind 35 meters.
Can you do a guide to transitioning into gas blowback? (what to look for when selecting a replica/brand, maintenance and tool requirements, recommendations for intermediate players looking to transition to GBBRs, and other considerations).
GHKs are made to take AEG buckings so G&G green bucking and a flatnup is crazy good

When using my m4 and re indexing my mags i always catch the valves. Had to change my loadout. Was using jpc with kydex inserts. Ive now had to put mag pouches on the front flap to stop gassing out.
Yup, I was surprised I hadn’t come across any mention of this issue. Switching front attachment out on my pc fixed that.
@@xOMastaPOx I asked about it on some of the forums and people were saying the valves were weak and needed fixing. Tried this and still had the same problem. I put it down to the pouches being too tight with the kydex as the jpc front flap with insert made it quite tight. Dont have the problem with pouches .

i built my own gbbr it was a mk18 kinda with a few personal touches i dont recommend it at all nothing will be perfect and will bug u and its crazy expensive for a gun that's barely mid range quality for playing games its cool and nice to have and is sexy but useless especially if ur using gas mags they are also crazy expensive if u wanna build a gbbr i would say do a hpa version but u still got alot of downsides

It seems to be a common trend with ghk m4 platforms to have terrible accuracy outof the box, looks like that applieshere as well

M16 stock should be totally rigid if it’s made of reinforced nylon.
If it has any give or flex, it’s made with cheap materials. (Abs)

I say you should get the 2023 maple leaf hop up version. It's vsr compatible and it will be easyer for you.

Haha that’s alright man. I just fell in love with this replica when I saw it and I don’t mind having a few small issues to address as long as they aren’t serious manufacturing defects. But yeah I understand why someone might not be into it.
How can you use this as a DMR when there isn't a physical semi auto only? Or did you do the filing of the selector switch trick?

Oof GHK, those are some terrible flaws in design. IMO I would stay away! Just go TM MWS and cut out the BS
Totally agree, I like the MK12, but for the price the wobble with the handguard, cheap looking stock it's unacceptable, it's GHK...
I had same QC issues with GHK, you always have to upgrade the hop up, barrel or the bucking, and on their M4A1 type rifles, the paint is awful, I'm tired of GHK, their AK line? The same, 2 AK'S from them...QC issues, again!
So now, I have 3 TM MWS, yes their internal is not 100% Real Deal clone correct...but they WORK out of the box, shooting performances are good, and no marks or whatever after 5 years on my MK18 Mod 0 (CQBR) from TM.
They're not perfect, they have their design flaws too, but again, they simply work, and it's really cool with a GBBR.
Same as the real a1 stock they suck
Ghk steel was haven bad quality. My bolt carrier's reinforcement piece (for bolt catch) has been broken. I can't believe it. Despite of finish's looking good, but the some edges on receiver isn't square, it's look round. And the last, receiver's corner will be deformed due to very bad design of GHK bolt catch structure. Summary. I was disappointed about that gun. It isn't worth for 700 usd
