You asked for a similar voice to Diana here it is ,well the closest I've ever heard anyway .Alexandra , A very famous German singer that died young in a car crash .Like Diana she sung in many languages German English .French .Hebrew Russian from what I know , czcams.com/video/bAZ9WNToR3s/video.html . Diana's voice has dropped even more in the last couple of years if you can believe that's possible than the clips your reacting to . She talks about it in a you tube questions and answers clip , she got a little worried because she used to make it a bit deeper on purpose and then it broke as she matured and she was worried about not having different tones and only singing in a deep tone she says . She obviously studies past contralto singers to see what songs suit her voice . She had the largest vocal register of her time ( 5 octaves and half) and she is the only one capable of singing in the same tone as the birds.
And most amazingly, she never studied sang. She learned to sing imitating the birds and animals of the mountains of Peru.

She entered her first kids contest in Russia where she sang a song that required masterful yodeling.
It was a masterpiece, a tour de force, some say the best yodeling performance in the history of videos showcasing yodeling, but in this performance it wasn’t just her amazing yodeling but also her body movement and stage presence and incredible as this might sound ( and I’ll shortly explain the reason why) but NOT ONE CHAIR TURNED!!!!
After the song was finished and the judges turned around , the audience interrupted what they were saying by giving Diana a 5 minute STANDING OVATION. After the applause, the judges had her perform a segment of a French song made famous by Edith Pief and after she sang it , the lady judge covered her face with both hands in utter shock , disbelief and SHAME. The judges said they didn’t press their buttons because they couldn’t teach her anything. She was beyond their level already. But this turned out to be a BLATANT LIE and one of the worse scandals in Russian talent contest history. Because the following day it was revealed that the contest was “ fixed” the winner was “bought” before the show started. A total travesty of justice.
And the following days over 80 million who watched the contest when posted on CZcams spit on the judges.
But she got her revenge the following year and year thereafter by winning not only the Russian contests in two consecutive years but 60 more awards and contests.
Please ( when you get the chance) I BEG of you to at least privately react by YouTubing “ Diana Ankudinova yodeling”.
And you’ll witness a yodeling masterpiece and if you stay to near the end of the judges commentary ( making excuses and lying) you will hear a brief portion of the French song the judges asked her to sing that she NAILED!
And there is a video of her outside a mall at age 11 singing this same French song but the complete version and she KILLED IT!!!! And at age 13 a classic flamenco song called “ me toy” hi how she performed with amazing emotional impact. And when you’re convinced that she’s one of the best female vocalist in the world ( like millions of others including myself) you may want to react to a couple of her newer songs: ( she just turned 17 the other day) like “by your voice”. and a masterpiece titled “Tomorrow is a lie” ( 4.26 one posted by HTB with famed composer Igor at the piano).

H of The Stage - Or she is the goddess, I love her voice and I personally have a naturally lower voice which made singing, without being put in the male role a lot, pretty hard. It was always somehow embarrassing and people would always make fun of me for my voice (but people used to call me a giraffe and my neck almost doesn’t exist so)
Point is my embarrassment, as well as some bad life circumstances that I don’t care to recount, made me start to really hate that my voice never cracked to that high point in middle school or high school. I always talk as little as possible and when I do I try to change my pitch so people don’t look at me like a big doof.
I always thought my voice was just bad or too scratchy or something but now that I’ve seen that there are women who have beautiful and deeper voices it just makes every word Diana sings hold so much meaning and weight and I love it so much. It makes me think that maybe the problem is that I just need to work on changing my voice to have a deeper tone and not a higher one. I’m gonna cry, her voice makes me feel so many painful emotions and I wouldn’t trade that feeling for any happiness in the world because those raw and painful emotions are beautiful just as much as this girl’s voice is.
Hearing this Diana’s voice and how beautifully she sings, not regardless of her deep voice but *because* of her deep voice, makes me want to go back into playing around with music. Thanks Diana for reigniting my passion for music. I need to catch up on a whole lot since I haven’t been singing for quite a few years.

Great reaction, first time ever someone reacting to a singer that actually know what they are talking about with the underlying harmonic structure of the voice. I heard an operatic contralto once well in the 70's when I was singing in Germany and Holland. Her last name was Bugg and I think her first name was Clare maybe, its been a long time but she could change resonating spaces and patterns kinda like Diana and fast dang she could change fast. The point is that of the ten thousand or so singers that I have heard over 60+ year its the only other one that I can think of that had that sound.

I get you. It took me a while to start getting used to her voice, and I'm still trying to let it sink in. It's creepy. But so unique and mesmerizing. I'm still not sure how I feel about it yet, because the emotions and the shivers I get are both from the beauty and the creepiness of it.
