Salut from France! Graphic designer here. I’ve resisted getting an iPad Air for drawing for years, but finally gave in and got the Air 5 when my Air 2 clocked its 8th year of use. I can so relate to the feeling of just drawing there while having coffee instead of being on social media. Thanks for the video, I’m looking forward to working on the iPad with the illustrator and other apps.
Thank you!! I literally just purchased my very first ipad and suddenly had anxieties (whether if I should buy or not). But watching and listening to your reasons (which are similar), I'm now looking forward for it's arrival :)
Thanks for the review it is really important to me as a begginer graphic designer to learn new ways to improve my work and using iPad was in my head lately and your video answers lots of my questions and so I'm also interested in seeing your notion setup and looking forward to watch it 😁
Definitely, one of my new go-to channels when I want some fresh positive entertainment...keep it up RR!
Thank you! Made my day with this comment... let me know if you have any video ideas 😁
Dude, i was randomly searching for I pad videos and this one made me stop my search and watch the full video.
Something about him made me feel very good suddenly, his attitude is very nice 😊
Imma sub rn.
Yeah! I figure it's him coming across as a human. Drifting off about his daughter (hug for her) and this and that. Very approachable and likeable :-)
Dude on 2019 i got into graphic design and I've been wanting a tablet to practice, but now I've made my decision about this lol. Thanks!
thank you for sharing your story about how you tried to film the unboxing, this made my day :D
Really enjoyed your video, First time watching your contents. Keen on buying an iPad 11 pro Next week for my work projects and leisure time.
Hello po. Love your ending statement! I'm currently deciding whether to get an iPad Air. I'm a designer and I want to draw more as well. How's your experience after purchasing the device? Were you able to draw more? How has it impacted your workflow as a designer? Thank you for the video, keep it up!
hi can you use the ipad air to create websites on wordpress or squarespace maybe? thanks.
When everyone started illustrating on procreate I was tempted by the idea of getting an iPad, but I couldn't justify it to myself with that hefty price tag to just buy it for digital drawing. When they added the ability to make animations on procreate my temptation grew even bigger. But it's still a really expensive product that I felt a bit sick thinking of its cost. ☹
I'm a freelance multimedia artist, I also knew I didn't really NEED this to continue working on projects as well, It costs as much as my pc which is my workhorse that let's me do everything. But my fixation over investing in an ipad reached peak levels when I realized that I could use this as an emergency laptop when I'm away from home for days, away from my desk.(laptop died years ago).
Finally decided to purchase either an Ipad air or mini in December, I'm hoping it won't be a stupid financial move from me.
Man i feel the same way, i see Procreate tutorials everyday. I so want it but so expensive.
Hi can i buy it for illustrator or photoshop because i am social media graphic designer so could i buy air or pro???
can use adobe photoshop and illustrator?
Can iPad Air 4th use on PS AI apps ?
I am a design student in Spain and I have no money so I have opted for the ipad air which has been a great unwrapping. I hope it will help me work more comfortably and better.
@@UnfinishedStudio Mainly illustrate. I have a basic wacom with no screen and it's frustating
@@rosasilvestre the iPad would be very helpful... I've been messing around with Pro Create and it's awesome

Nice! If you're doing Illustration then you should definitely check out ProCreate or Adobe Illustrator... also I've heard Photoshop is pretty fun to use on it as well

Illustrator can be used on the iPad… I don’t think you can use the other apps
Please ans me, A new graphics designer can buy ipad air 4 please suggest me
I need this in my life 256 gig tho with that keyboard
@@UnfinishedStudio hey, I'm currently doing my degree in design and probably getting the ipad air soon, but is 64gb enough? I'm probably gonna do lots of art on the ipad, just worried it wouldn't be enough in the future
@@joycelynnjbxy4280 you may want to upgrade to the 256gb if you're gonna draw a lot on it whether with procreate or illustrator... but if money is an issue.. you can also get the cloud storage.. I believe the cheapest one is about .99 a month
Is this enough for a growing graphics designer?
I was planning to buy Ipad Pro but due to lack of budget i couldnt. Please suggest me. Can I Buy This ?Is this good enough ?
If my laptop broke, should i buy new laptop or this? For drawing illustration (affinity designer)
Thank you as a graphic designer I’ve literally been debating to get one or not
@@lilonex0 can we get a review lol starting uni I'm October for graphic design. What's your thoughts?
@@L-lm1gc I did get it! I got the iPad Air, So far I love it and I believe before you get one you should really learn all the programs really well on the computer first because the apps do not have everything the computer versions have. Once you learn and understand all the features then I would suggest to purchase an iPad after
@@lilonex0 ok perfect thanks for getting back to me as I'm comfortable with Adobe and shit hopefully it will suit my needs thanks for getting back to me so quickly
I would love to see you draw a comic or something that would be really interesting
iPad Air or pro for graphic designers ?
Does figma works on ipad air
I dont think it's a good idea.. You won't have as good control and it's also pretty buggy and laggy
I wanna be a web designer 😍
That’s awesome! Check this video out if you wanna know how to get started

Less talk and more show.
I really wanted to see those web mockups, dude.
So basically ipad can be used for graphic designer
In certain conditions.. probably.. It's great for illustrations. I'm playing with Photoshop on it right now, might have a video about it sometime
thnks a lot
I know where you are coming from needing a device.
I can see where a tablet can be useful if drawing and writing is not the primary reason but if it is then I would not recommend it.
There are definitely other uses for it that we probably have not thought of... especially with the tech advances every day 👍🏼
@@UnfinishedStudio I was trying to say that is great if you do NOT want a writing device first. For me I do so an traditional tablet is not for me but I would agree with you that if you have nothing to write or design on then GO get something. Just do due diligence on what you're requirements are.
If you have a PC then I recommend that for work, if not then a tablet AND then get a drawing device.
I will be interested in seeing you use your iPad especially with the apps you mentioned as I always like to gain knowledge of what's out there.
Notion interested
Pinoy ka pala lagi kita napapanood hahahaha

What gear do you recommend for designers?
