Mick Tucker was a legit drummer and never really got the recognition he deserved. This isn't even his best "performance" since they were just pantomiming to playback here. But if you get a chance to see him really play, he's badass.

I do LOVE this band! They were "edgy" before edgy was cool, pushin' the envelope. Never have gotten the recognition they deserve, but those of us who are true fans know & appreciate how good they were. I KNOW they got a "barroom blitz" goin' on in "rock 'n' roll heaven"! Save the corner seat for me, guys!

The 70's were a crazy time with many different popular genres. I have to admit that I didn't appreciate Sweet when they were current. I listened to AC/DC, Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath etc. I only started to truly recognize their talent as an older fellow listening to "Oldies" on CZcams. I'm glad that I rediscovered them and have them in my steady rotation now. Sorry to hear about the premature deaths in the band. RIP.

This is in my opinion easily on of the very best pop songs ever made.I am 58, been listening to everything from Beatles to Marlilyn Manson and in between. The only song I can think of that comes close to the same engaging energy that makes it impossible to sit still is I wanna Be Somebody by WASP.
Slade had a few good hits that could rival Sweet, but Sweet had so many many more fabulous hits

I meet Andy several years ago in a German highspeed train (ICE) from Berlinto Basel.
I sat in a first class compartment. I wanted to sit alone.
He asked me kindly if there is a seat vacant. I thought oh no! But said yes of course.
The time than passes by like a flight.
    It was very interesting.
