Spain should have used cav better but really it was england that lost the battle for their team. Spain had the artillery superiority so they could have defended which is way easier than attacking obviously seen. Crossing the river, you take huge losses and Spain had to because England suicide charged lmao
I really could have used my cav better and thank you for saying I had to attack because, well I had little choice (I was Spain)

Here’s my take on it! The British have become greedy. The attacked the Prussians through a costal invasion with huge force. Spain after help in the Peninsular War from the British must help their ally. However, the Swedish see this invasion as a threat that the British may do this to them as well. Now on the Prussian countryside, the fight awaits.
What a glorious battle. Napoleon age really well.

Fun fact the swedish lifeguards still exist , they are swedens oldest unit created by out lands father vasa , they celebrated 500 years 2021 and still guard the castle

Battle: The battle of Luga
Location: Galicia, Spain
Date: Janurary 18, 1838
+Ryan Rodriguez Backround: After the Napoleonic Wars, Prussia rebuilt immidiently, by emposing a strict, socialist like policy for 10 months in 1818. Eventually, The king wanted more, so he blamed Denmark on crimes such as endorsing anarchism and chaos in Prussia, so they invade and subjegate the country from 1821-1824. Europe gets angry, but tensions begin to cool, until Prussia does the same to Switzerland from 1830-1836 (It took a while, because Austria gave them problems, and so did France and Sardine-Piedmont). In the end, Prussia annexed Strasbourg, and subjegated Switzerland, Austria, and destroyed Sardinia-Piedmont and annexing it under their Austrian "friends". This wasn't right, so Great Britain imposed Sanctions on the regions. This made Prussia desperate, so they did something nobody would expect: Invade Galicia, Spain. Why? Because the "Gallegos" were of Celtic origin. Prussia wished to annex the region and bestow kindness on said Celts to cause a stir of rebellion of Irish, Scot, and Welsh nationalists in England, and allow the U.K to tbe subjegated as well. So they do this, and Britain builds up a reserve from Gibraltar to march. The invasion succeeds at Coruna in 1837, and they push down all the way to Luga on Janurary 18, 1838, where the British finally arrived.

+Pixelated Apollo you will do yourself well by forming up in thinner lines since only the front rank fires in napoleon. you will be able to out gun opponents easily.

When you fight Cav in Napoleon fight it with a square nearby, especially as france where you get the skrimisher cav that can run around the square or drag enemy cav into square
Got Napoleon a few days ago and have neen playing for like 6 hours everyday. Played my first multiplayer yesterday and failed. Must practice more. Going to watch all your vids Lord Pix, to get a better field of what units are better against which and what not. I know cav is op against just about all the infantry I've come to meet with. Keep up the vids! :)

What Spain was doing is you're trying to save his troops when England fall so then they could go attack you and Ryan King
I think the Spain players plan was to let the Rhine king get distracted then charge forward. But if this was his/her plan when why did they wait so long? It's the only one that makes sense, other then Spain wanting to defend and England wanting to attack. I prefer the first one though, make him/her sound smarter.
Hey Apollo, you should try the ACW mod for Shogun 2. It's on the Workshop and there's a bunch of good maps on the Workshop. Not many units, but absolutely beautiful effects and gameplay.

Very typical of the British cav to go AWOL during a battle in that time period. They just had minds of there own. Most likely obsessed with glory. Man I love my country. Plagued wellington throughout his peninsula campaign
Do you use any mods? I heard the sound of the skirmishers firing around five minutes in and it sounded very realistic. Havent used these prussians before so is this effect in the game?

I think the UK lost the battle for Spain. Spain was meticulously preparing while the British charged ahead without strategy.
This is kind of hold, but do you use a specific mod for your gun sounds? I really like how they sound and would love to have that in my game.
