Hey, my dad also loved John Farnham, in his young years when he was an MP at the German- Forces in Wetzlar Germany, John Farnham was his favourite musician, my dad has even gone with only 49 Years, RIP and now John Farnham is my favourite musician, i love playing in his music on LP....that bring some nice memories back..... so I think you do everything fine in honor of your mum...Greetings from Germany, sorry for my bad english....

Age of Reason was the first album I ever played for myself, a gift from Mum in the late 80's when I was 8 years old. Her gift has given itself continuously ever since, thanks Mum, thanks Johnny, love you both.

Considering I grew up on all the old 70s and 80s music, throughout the 90s and 00s, I still believe I was meant to have been born much earlier.
Early enough to grow up going to such gigs.

John Farnham was my first concert ever! It was my double digits (turning 10, 1989) birthday present. I wore taffeta like there was no tomorrow and had the best time. Thankyou John Farnham for giving me the best 10th birthday a kid could ask for and for many more experiences listening to your music 😊
We are having this song play at our wedding as we walk out together of the church in October 2025. So excited.
My condolences to Johnny and his family. Johnny's got throat cancer as of 2022. I pray that God interceeds for Johnny to heal his throat and live long and prosper, otherwise may God have a place for him with the Cherubim's in Heaven.

I was the myer music bowl for one of his concerts ,him and the divine Marcia Hines.He was absolutely gorgeous and I was star struck.He is awesome live as was Marcia.

And just to add to Rachel Miller s comment ' that wud be brilliant and of course to stage it in in his beloved "Melbourne ". Myself and my wife used to live there in the early 90s Brighton Beach ' and Elwood ' worked in many lovely places outside Melbourne '. Wud give anything to go back to that time and place and people we knew. Alot are passed ' bug still in contact with some. Again John was at the top of his game then.
