I love the new Scott Spark and now I love the new Scott Genius~ Scotty you are truly one lucky rider but very well deserved!! Can't wait to see you hit the trails with the all new Genius in all your upcoming videos!
As always a amazing job and bike Scotty 👍👍👍👍👍
And super video!!!!!!
Congratulations Scotty! You are a lucky Genius! :- ))
Good job ❤respect from Bucharest România 🇹🇩
Love the forms and angles in the main body of the bike. I’m also very curious about the details about the systems mentioned in the new rear shock. I have the 2019 version and it has really cool features on that shock (ramp). Also love that it now comes with grip 2 damper! Great build, so clean! Nicely done Scott and Scotty!!! 🤩
I was waiting for new Genius line. Amazing bike.
very nice built scotty!
especially the orange fork i love
Lovely bike with clean lines like the spark
That is a good looking bike! The idea of having the shock tucked away at least makes cleaning the bike a bit easier if nothing else.
Loved it!!!❤
I like this non-obvious combination of the green part of the frame and orange fork :)
What a beauty!!
What an amazing bike!
amazing!!!
This man knows how to put together a bike!
Well his sponsors do anyway
What a bold design! Inspired by Boldcycles...
Sensational 🖤😎
Absolute clinic putting the bike together. You are an artisan. Love the enclosed shock and frame stiffness. That rear shock will hopefully need less maintenance by not being exposed to the elements and grime. Really like this design.
Stoked to hear it Brian! I’m a big fan of it, looks gorgeous in my opinion but you could say I’m biased!!
Nice!
Awesome bikes
Some Bold component choices there 👀
Love your work, and great to see the Milkit being used for the tyres. How long did it take you to throw the whole thing together, and was getting the internal cabling in place tricky in any way? People seem to be criticizing the cable routing but I don't know how many of them have actual first-hand experience with it. Cheers!
I have been using a bike with internal routing for a full year. And yes, keeping it maintained is a pain! Had to replace dropper cable, nightmare. Now time for a new headset, have to undo every cables and bleed brakes etcetera. Saving up to change everything in one time so i dont have to bother with it for a year.
sweet bike
They finally put a legit, piggy back shock on a mtn bike! Kudos to Scott
Doesn’t need the piggyback on this rig… it’s a selling point. Seems you’re sold!
@@Twentykixx Do you understand the difference between a piggyback shock vs a regular one?
@@Eric.V. the increased volume for the standard NUDE shock is enough to tackle the rigors of compression through the stroke for linear progression for this bike and say a 200lb rider, no problem. Since this bike is placed between a down / enduro, whereas the Ransom uses a non-piggyback volume shock, it’s more than enough. They used this particular shock with Fox to use the twin-feature for climbing and volume articulation, while keeping the shock relatively small to fit in the frame. That’s why they used it with the piggyback. Sometimes you have more space in the X-axis, Y-axis, or Z-axis to accommodate certain limitations in the design. Thanks though…
@@Twentykixx Do you work for Scott?
Why do they call it a “Nude” shock?
Nice video! Is it me or does the paint on the rear triangle look weird at 0:54 .
Cool build! I'd probably throw away the lockout levers and trow on another shock but otherwise it's perfection. Also, if I had any choice I would most likely not choose an orange fork for this bike.
The shock is really good. I raced the previous versions on my Ransom and Genius for 4 years. 0 problems. And I put some serious work to it.
Nice
This bike looks awesome, but can I put in an other rear shox? For example a marzocchi?
Just imagine casing a jump and breaking that beautiful shock cover ☠
Hopefully it doesn’t happen!
Nice work Scotty!....Love my 2021 Genius.... but always worried that if the shock breaks I might not be able to find a replacement!.... still would buy the bike again though!
You should be okay through a dealer keep to those service intervals and you’ll be sweet!
Hai scot . Make front brake cable through the steer tube . Then it will be super clean 😆
Does the Genius have the icg tabs for a bash guard
Want to see the 2023 Scale frame.
Scotty how tall are you and which size did you choose? :)
The bike is solid and my Ebike conversion went great. czcams.com/users/postUgkxHL1v1R3NE5x4KiYfyt8dnQmyNYz7qi5L Very smooth ride at 30mph with no problems (135 miles ridden so far). The picture is a bit deceiving - there is WAY less space in the center of the frame than it shows. The suspension connection takes up the entire thing. So I needed to attach my battery on the bottom of the frame and my controller on the top. Instructions for assembly were lacking but honestly it wasn't too hard to figure out even though I have very little bike knowledge. Watched some youtube videos on adjusting the disk brakes but that was it. Still, I am loving it and very happy with the purchase.
You would normally purchase from a registered dealer who’d be able to help you with any assembly 🙌
Does the twinlock actually work on the new Scott, or is it the same as e.g. GENIUS ERIDE 920 2022 where there is no difference between full open and 'medium' closed rear shock?
Mam model z 2018 i jest wg mnie udany, ten jest paskudny :P
What’s the total weight for this XTR build? My older 2017 Genius 700 TUNED LT PLUS is 160/160 @28lbs with AXS. Full twin lock too! Still shreds all… A real do it all machine. 🤘🏼
Hi! the chainring of that are how many teeth?
Question to anyone: I have a Scott spark 950 2021 which has a grey, bare metal like colour.. I want to customise it but what colour should I add to make it look better? Thanks!’
Oh it so sick! I’m 16 years old and I very dream about such «LEGO» but I from Ukraine 😢
that seat tube above the bottom bracket. looks pregnant😀 i wish they copy the bold unplugged.
Scott building a Scott
Lovely but how do you set the sag in the shock if its hidden?
It has an indicator on the frame, please check out the bike check for more information!
@@ScottyLaughland brilliant.
Hmm what pedals do you have here?
XTR Trail pedals!
weight?
Oh my god, that is just a thing of beauty! only I would go for a Black fork, the orange and yellow kinda clash :D
Also full XTR is the way to go, shimano is just so much smoother than sram
Price ?
Ugh, that cable routing job (cheeky to not actually show it 🤣)
Nothing to see, it’s all in the frame! 😂
What about price
Me: "Hey Scott how can this bike cost over $10.000!?"
Scott: "Have you seen our new HQ in Switzerland?"
Tubeless tire are a no no for me, because when you tweak the wheel, you have to put a tube in it. The sealant makes the tire unbalance, and take a few minutes to even it self out.
I swear by it as a setup!
I hope i can have one 🥺🥺
All is good, but the orange fork, really?
Probably a sponsored fox one and only offered it in orange. But i agree colour doesn't look right
Orange forks are ugly
And a video of these so beautiful but in Spanish??? You don't have anyone in Spain??
What’s the reason for no gloves and eyewear?
Lebels
Its a super beautiful bike!
But press fit bb and internal cables via the headset..
No thank you. Its a pity.
Is it me, or does this non-ebike look like an ebike ? Still an awesome looking bike though !!
Cables through the headset - NO
Meh wasn’t so bad and looks clean as
@@ScottyLaughland yeah. In a clean warehouse and with ton of tools. Now do it after an unlucky ride in a hotel room far away from home. Cheers.
I would never mount an orange fork on a bike that is such a bad colour match. Even if it was the best and cheapest fork at the same time!😂
Can’t please everyone! I like it!!
@@ScottyLaughland Of course, That was not my intention either. Just my personal opinion :)
Absolutely awesome bike but must be installed only Groupset SRAM AXS Eagle XX1 . Shimano for bicycle. For Genuine Gorgeous Bikes only SRAM.
headset cable routing trash
I love your riding but the full integration is so dumb
Its not an eMTB, I thought he's gonna build something cool.
Is it just me who is disgusted to have a bike that looks 99% like an electric bike, but without it being an electric one? What a horror, a huge tube, filled with air, I prefer a really finer and more racy bike, something that electrics cannot do
Think it’s just you! Understand your view but I personally love it… It’s certainly a racey bike in fact read some of the views and your opinion might be swayed!!
