This is awesome - not only giving people a chance to see how everything is meant to go together, but also providing a useful reference down the line during the build. Y'all have been killing it lately.
super cool ICM!! much thanks! eagerly awaiting your OV-10 kit here!! being around the airplane for a significant amount of time, and based on the actual manuals, your kit here is practically the most accurate model of the airplane ever... even compared to the larger kitty hawk kit now before anybody nitpicks, I know that ICM did not provided the aft cargo bay for this model, but based on the parts breakdown and assembly, scratchbuilding the cargo bay should be a straightforward and easy affair... you only need some good reference material, a few plastic sheets, and an afternoon of work
I have always loved this airplane. When I was stationed in Korea in 81, these still flew. They would come in four or five at a time in formation, then peel off and set up their landing approaches. The sound of all those engines peeling off was incredible. Just like the sounds of multiple aircraft diving in for an attack that you would hear in the movies.
I bought this excellent kit! As for vortex generater located the underside of horizontal stabilizer, part No.B-2, the mold was omitted. So, I wish B-2 part would be molded in the next kit OV-10D+!
Joe Boxer, If you look at the sprue shots on their site, it does include a center tank (I do not know if this is the USAF tank you mention) and armaments for the pylons. It's curious that they are not shown on this video, but it's likely due to them being option in mounting and arrangement.
Not only did you release (and I bought!) this kit, you go and do this video?! Now make a 1/48 Sikorsky CH-53E, Douglas F3 Skyknight, Grumman F2 Banshee & F9 Cougar and take all my money. Thanks! P.S. Man, some of you viewers are really picky! How many other companies even do this?
I just built this kit beautiful kit but the lack of how the weapons attach is horrible takes a lot of guess work in the end I just put the fuel pod on and called it a day
Very nice! :-) I would have appreciated if the images had more contrast, when camera goes a bit far the parts become a gray mass without detail surface.

Talking of your last video, here's some example of a company doing it right.
The lofi hip hop is a nice tough lol.

disappointed in how the landing gear is attached early, also.....no USAF style centerline fuel tank.......hopefully aftermarket will do one.

@@trydrew ya they supply the early tank. Now on the D model they just announced the artwork to it looks to have the late tank on it.
Incredible……

ICM делает неплохие модели....жалко что в 48 масштабе,а не в 72...
It would be better if it has color directions for each piece, or at least for each sub-assembly.
