@@luciankristov6436 That record is held by Russian strongman Dimitar Savatinov.
@@youtubecreators384 Louis Cyr
@@doublem1975x just pure raw strength
Strongest ones don't need to put anyone else down. They want more to be like them-
Louis Cyr was just a gifted guy who was gifted by God, he was born with that monster strength.
He was gifted but used it to full potency he worked hard for that strength
@@LincolnKimble and that too.
He was much heavier than portrayed in this movie. They ate massive amounts of meat back in the day.
I heard he ate 6 pounds of steak per evenning and once, he and Horrace(the guy in the video) ate an entire suckling pig each.
Jadore quand mon papa etait en fin de vie et il tombait jdevait le relever 240 lb sa ma motiver merci bro

That lifting looks really funy and unreal what a shame
yeah way to fluid of a motion no sticking points ...
@@60kgofpower68 well to be fair if you look up how is stage performances went people were typically less entertained by cyr even though he was lifting more weight because he didn't look like he was having any issues lifting
And now with the left arm
Brad Castleberry could have done it
Conner Broeker
Hes on juice these men had no juice.
@@luciankristov6436 are you stupid?
Hahaha

Love the story and the dude behind it but couldn’t the producers gotten someone actually strong looking. These two dudes are skinny armed paper pushers. I don’t smell strength coming from them lol
Look up the pictures of him he was almost 350 pounds.
Also if you're paying attention to the scene you would notice how they were talking about how there are strong men that are bigger than him and look stronger yet he is so much stronger "there is more at play here than just muscle" .
there was Eugen Sandow he looked like a bodybuilder and cyr still beat him
I agree that just because someone doesn’t look like Arnold, doesn’t mean he’s strong. But the real Louis Cyr was a big man. This actor has a small wrist and frame. I’m sure they could’ve found a better specimen to depict the strongest man that ever lived. In actual life too, Cyr would slowly, at a snails pace, lift the dumbbell up. The actor jerks it up like it’s nothing. That is the point I’m trying to get across. I think you just wanted to flap your gums at me did ya buddy
@@camphope9344 no that's basically how he looked at that age his arms got bigger when he was older but he wasn't that old then And if wrist size is the only thing you can really complain about then you don't really understand how bad the casting could have been you got to make compromises to have Good actors play the roll
And also Lewis cyr was actually known for having such immense strength that people are less entertained at his weight lifting shows because he could lift things with such ease that didn't even look like it was a challenge for him
Once he was able to do something it wouldn't take long before he was able to do it for reps (God I wish he wrote down exactly how he trained)
@@camphope9344 well, the actor is actually 6'2 for 280 pounds. so not so small. Louis Cyr was actually about 5'9. But he was bigger indeed
