I was waiting on the left side line of the first base gate for 6 hours. At the end of the wait people kept trying to cut the line. So us people who waited made a group to make sure we all made it to the front of the line. In the off chance anyone from that group sees this I wanna say, Ashley and your husband I hope you guys had fun and we helped make Ashley's birthday special. To the girl who handed out the wristbands to players that you made and your friend who i talked to about philly captain and said sounds like Michael Reeves. You guys were genuinely enjoyable to be around. In the off chance any of you read this, it was a pleasure meeting all of you. Remember picture day at the Vet when I was in elementary school. The lines were much shorter. lol.
I was a freshman at Drexel & they gave us tix to a Saturday night game vs. the Expos at the Vet. It was Kodak photo night, so we could go on the field. It was Mike Schmidt retirement night, so we signed the billboard card. Von Hayes homered. I have a pic with John Kruk somewhere.
