@@MD-qz1wx I think what he was getting at was that most world leaders in developed countries don't tell lies to such an extent as to have every single quote checked for truthfulness. while some lies, willful or ignorance based, are expected. most leaders in developed nations don't lie as often as they breath.

I would expect them to be purposely untruthful for certain things that would otherwise be a security risk. But, mostly, I would hope they would be truthful. However, it is the responsibility of the citizens to question leadership and to keep them aware that we are paying attention to them, making them be accountable for their actions and statements, and holding them to promises they make. Politicans work for the people.

GDP per person tells us what happens to the average person, but behind the average lies a large variety of personal experiences.
He knows what he's doing but for his own good. The fact that you are using a single metric to highlight his impact is kind of misleading as well. Forget likability, the guy blatantly lies and despite the abundance of evidence against him, you hide all that under "likable".
