Chester only wants to be with her because she is pretty and is cruel to Jonah (we were shown this throughout the previous episode and this one), but Jonah breaks into her house, has bad habits and manipulates her. Both of them pressure her into choosing one of them constantly despite her saying that she does not want to do that and clearly are using her as a competition to see which of them is 'better'. Honestly, neither of them seem like the right option for Ellie. I think she should find another person who doesn't just see her as a trophy to be won in some boy-ish pride competition and genuinely cares about her. Besides, if they really love her, they'd "let her go" (cough, give up trying to 'win' her, cough)
