1 braking point i use the first shadow you see on track then start praying this missile car stops😂. very helpfull for me is to see gears you use. tnx ! btw im still silver😂
The brakes are that bad on this car that the braking points can vary so much depending on how you apply the brakes. Good luck with it mate, I'm sure you'll get the gold. Maximising those kerbs is a must !!
I have already done a few laps and after watching this video I am sure that I am faster in every corner and on every straight, which logically leads to a lap time that is almost exactly 1s slower than your lap. 😆
😂😂😂 not an easy none this mate. It’s so easy to lose time. A lot of time can be gained from having good throttle control and maximising the cutting of the corners. I’m just not very good at the throttle management side of it 😂

But since Jeddah Racing is currently not at P1, I'm not sure if that will be enough for gold in 2 weeks. If I get everything together I'll get another 0.5s, but I doubt whether I'll have the nerve. Either way: thanks for the video, it was very helpful as always!

I've been and to get into the high 1 minute 35s using this car at this track. Fuel trim 1 obviously. My trick is even though I'll downshift no lower than 3rd gear when going into corners, i quickly jump into 4th before accelerating. Any lower of a gear you'll just spin the tires. I'm also using a Logitech G923 sim wheel and VR.
@boosted0079 unfortunately not as often as I’d like. Really struggle for time outside of doing the lap guide for the time trials. I can recommend some very good leagues for GT7 if you are looking for that sort of thing?
@@PM10Racing actually yeah that'd be cool. I've dipped my feet into sport mode, but I don't feel the driver rating system and match making is very good lol. It's very hit and miss getting into a good race with respectful drivers. Most seem likea bunch of kids using controllers with the only goal to crash as many cars as they can. The time trials in sport mode are fun though. But I'd like to find a way to be competitive with other like minded driver's.
I completely agree, that’s exactly why I wanted to join a league. Very clean driving and good sportsmanship are encouraged and enforced and the standard of clean driving is superb. I highly recommend Black Flag Racing as this was the league me and a few racing friends setup as a breakaway from another league. Turn 3 on controller is a bit tricky since the game limits your steering, making impossible to take it flat out. Exiting at 4/5th gear is also very helpful 👍.
@@PM10Racing I have the sensitivity at max. After driving further I found that you can actually make it flat if you go inside enough through the corner but is very hard. Currently I managed to make 1:39.017 of 1:38.977 for gold, thank you so much for your guide man 👍.

Well done mate. Yes I absolutely agree. I’m quite slow at adapting to new cars so I think it would take a few sessions over a few days to fully be able to push the car to its limits. Well done mate should be a solid gold and an easy 2m to add to the bag 👍🏼
@@SnoopRacingGT I don’t blame you. Not the most enjoyable car to drive. I love Monza but this car is just the worst. The only thing it’s good for is learning to control the throttle better. It’s all a learning curve though and if we only drove GT3 cars all the time you may be missing out on crucial learning opportunities.

I'm not a fan of these VGT cars, would much prefer something that exists IRL. However, i think this could be tuned and adjusted with upgrades to become quite a good car. Just not on this setting !!

Even with racing softs I can't get below 1:36 😂 this car is just horrible at braking and cornering exits I could only manage 1:41 with the sports tyres
Thankfully we don’t have to do this on the Nordschleife or we would never get round in one piece 😂 There’s no way irl they would make a car that can go this fast then fit it with drum brakes from the 70s so what’s the point of making a VGT car like that. No wonder no one likes VGT cars 😂
@@andreabartoli8897 there’s no right or wrong answer, it’s whatever works for you. Be aware though that the more assists you use the harder it is to actually feel what the car is doing / what it wants. I like no assists as I like to feel the car but whatever works for you is fine.
This one is hard for gold, especially with that downshift nonsense, but I still target a top 10% finish, which is at least 1 second from where I am now......
Would be interested to see the stats on this later on. The time in 1st position is very quick so has lowered the gold time down even further making it hard to achieve. Good luck with it mate.
@@PM10Racing For reasons I don't understand, I am sitting in a very borderline provisional gold on this one with a lower 1:39 with AT, and simultaneously within top 4%. In other words, this TT is already, by my standard, a "super hard" TT with less than 5% players getting gold. Needless to say, braking and exit speed is key to this TT, but for fellow AT players, I would just say that be patient with throttle input when accelerating. The rest is just working out the best corner turning points and practice
@@PM10Racing Indeed, on the one hand I have to make reference from a top time that abuses the engine brake when it is not something available to me, on the other, I have the added hurdle of accelerating on an overpowered engine on a low gear, which would not have been a problem for MT players.
@@stormmeansnowork I’m not sure how much you can abuse the downshifts asi found it locked the wheels and made the braking distance longer. However, not being able to up shift when you want is a disadvantage

I've been and to get into the high 1 minute 35s using this car at this track. Fuel trim 1 obviously.

A very worthwhile strategy. I couldn’t carry enough speed to avoid getting bogged down in a higher gear unfortunately.

Bit of shame you can’t get T3 flat. Can you adjust the steering sensitivity so that it turns a bit quicker?

I agree a wheel makes it much easier but I’m terrible on a controller so I’m probably not the best judge 😂
