Don´t miss to visit Maria´s Rock Cafe and beware of the sea urchins if you walk over the sea to the small in front of ephelias beach!
metatron2332 Thanks for the info. We've now booked Ephelia (we're doing Denis Island first for 8 nights, then Ephelia for 6) We'll be taking water shoes, but will watch out for the sea urchins anyway.
Dene Bebbo Hope you enjoy it! :-) Water shoes don´t help if they only are made out of rubber. My wife hit an urchin with water shoes and had to stay three days at the room. They only appear at the south beach in front of the junior suites half way to the small island in the sea. We had the last suite at the south beach. In our eyes really the nicest but far away from dinner. :-) But no problem to reach with the hotel caddy cars. Don´t miss the hidden trail above the north beach. It will bring you to some very nice natural beaches. I guess three or four beaches you can reach on this small trail through the jungle. Adventourous but very nice and as well as no tourists there. You have to walk the small trail up the hill to the heliport and behind that you walk down the hill and further the trail to the north. Very natural beaches there! Don´t stay too long if the sun goes down because of the flood it could be not easy to find back in the night as we tried it without a falshlight. LOL ;-) We only miss some more music and dancing in that hotel. Very friendly stuff and they helps me so friendly with my marriage proposal. Greetings from germany.

Dene Bebbo Hi. Yes we make some tours. But on our own by car. We walked to Morne Blanc. hard to walk but woth it! Gerat view from the hill Mission Lodge also great view. Botanical Garden, Victoria Market, Wednesday at Beau Vallon Market (nice in the evening) and have a look at every beach. :-) And we do the trip to Curieuse island, Praslin, Siluette by a katamran boat... Funny thing was to walk the road sans souci and a week later do the same by car. Both was very adventurous. :-)
