I've collected toy swords as a child. As an adult I moved onto metal ones. But I still have a "Superhuman Samurai Cyber Squad" sword toy. I could never bring myself to get rid of it after all these years. Friggin' rad to see this again.

Would have been awesome if he used Fixer Beam right after that final Grid Beam. But am really happy how SRW is expanding. Next month, we'll be getting Ultraman DLC. And then in one of the previous game Swordfish from Cowboy Bebop (of all places!) was in it. If they managed to pull that through, maybe it's a matter of time before we get sentai mechas in SRW.

Personally, I like to think the reason why you don't get OG/Hyper Agent Gridman until literally RIGHT before the endgame is because Fixer Beam could probably have taken care of like, at LEAST half of the problems the heroes deal with in the late game. Triple Zero and Conqueror King Genesic? FIXER BEAM. Angel Halo and Zoltan's reality breaking bullshit? FIXER BEAM. Big Mother and the magic 'control all Super AI' chip? FIXER BEAM. Whatever the fuck Claw had going on? FIXER BEAM. Lady Debonair's control and empowering of the inherent darkness and conflict within all of humanity's collective hearts across multiple worlds? FIXER BEAM!
This is probably the reason why Gridman was nerfed at the start of the anime too. The fixer beam is such a busted ability that you can’t really have stakes with it around.

Aside from the fact that I personally feel like the Grid Beam Ultimate Attack should've had like one more bit of an extension to it, I'm still plenty hella hyped for Gridman in this game.
Considering how he healed the entire world by punching it in the show, thats not inaccurate. Although Final GaoGaiGar is the biggest and baddest of them all in this game, Gridman is very close.
He is a Hyper Agent for a reason. Imagine the numbers on his attacks if he were to appear in his base form in the next game? I'm thinking Fixer Beam would work like Fire Bomber's songs in that the non-kaiju enemies just leave the stage after being hit with it.

The catch is that if Gridknight is in the field, he would "disappear" because Anti/Knight is one of the component to get the OG Gridman and you still only have 1 list of Spirits instead of 6 like most of combiner robot (because again, OG Gridman is a combination of Yuuta/Gridman, Anti, and all of the Assist weapon). Its literally a power trip character, just like Demonbane in UX or Mazinger Zero in V

Gridman in Srw is cool and all, but I didn't like how they give Full Powered only 3 attacks, like he's literally an walking arsenal He has shoulder cannons, missile launchers, gatling guns and he could have used Calibur as a standard melee weapon instead of only using him for the Full Power Finish, heck, even the Assist Weapons can combine into a flying fortress aside from Powered Zenon Maybe they'll give him more attacks in the next game

I think on top of what ever else, most of Full Powered Gridman's attacks are attacks that come from being Max/Empyrean/Buster Gridman, so they probably didn't feel like repeating attacks.
The final attack looked cool but it would have been better if they showed the final Grid beam beam heading towards the enemy Also the dynamic kill should have been Gridman punching the enemy

Makes sense for me becuz even before the existence of Pacific Rim - The Black anime Gypsy Danger from PR Part 1 got a cameo in a Shin Mazinger Zero vs Great General of Darkness manga somewhere back in 2015 or was it 2016. Technically yes and no. He does sort of exist in the Ultraman universe just like other Tsuburaya Pro spin-off heroes like Mirror Man (called Mirror Knight in the ultra universe), Jumborg 9 (now Jean-Nine), Jumborg Ace (now Jean-Bot) and Fireman (now Glenfire).
While I agree with this comment, the higher resolution sprites, budget issues, and whatnot probably would have limited them from doing this, if Srw had more of a budget, which they may have considering the money made from 30, it might return. But for now this is still very beautifully done and you should just enjoy it as it is.
