    Excellent video, it's exactly what I needed to know. The projector looks great and I'll order one this week: 4K, Android Tv and smaller than most of its BenQ siblings.

    Looks an awesome projector, and great review.
    Have you an idea of the fan dB noise?
    As for me that will be the deciding factor as it'll be hanging from my ceiling above my seating position.
    Great video 👍

    So when you're watching something on the projector, do you have another chair opposite it, or do you have to shift around the big cinema seats every time? :D

    Do you know if a firestick can be placed in the compartment slot instead of the included stick? Would be great if it does and could be shut away. I know it’ll go in another hdmi but would like it shut away.
    Also is it bright enough for a room with window and no blind? Mainly watching at night but be nice to have something that was ok in daylight, unfortunately I think 2000 lumens won’t do it?

    I got this projector based off this review; I mostly use it for streaming movies and videos and it’s great! I would recommend it especially if it’s on sale; it’s a great sub $1500 projector.

      I hate that it doesn't have 2.1 HDMI 120hz. If you don't use this projector for competitive gaming it doesn't have much use. Your better off getting a W2710i, TK860i or the older version for a good deal. The new versions also have a low lag by the way. Making this one pretty much obsolete, because the picture quality is much better. I would still wait for 2.1 HDMI one though around this price range. I would sell this one before next year if i was you. I'm guessing the next ones are gonna be 2.1, so this one will drop very fast in value because it's a gaming projector and they upgraded the last ones with low latency. The next logical step would be 4K120hz 2.1.
      A 2.1HDMI projector will hold it's price for longer. Before midrange graphic cards can do 8K 120hz it's the year 2040.

    • @moff.lol.
      @moff.lol. Před 2 lety +1

      Xgimi definitely has a lot of quality of life features and great speakers built in, and built in Android TV. However, it isn’t as bright, and any color accuracy will still suffer from a dim image. Also, since it is a Chinese brand, I’ve heard that some people have had issues sending it in for repairs.
      I have the TK 700, and have absolutely loved it so far! It’s pretty bright, and doesn’t look as washed out in daylight. Setup is simple enough. The color accuracy is good; I don’t have any experience with the Xgimi, but from what I see the color accuracy is better. Also, the TK700 has a shorter lamp life but you can easily buy a replacement.
      Biggest factor is portability; if you’re expecting to move your projector around and use it indoors and outdoors, I would get the Xgimi. If you expect to have your projector in one room or fixed spot, go for the TK700. I would also recommend checking the HT3550 if you’re using for a home cinema and want better color accuracy.

    This or the xgimi horizon pro ? For movies edit I bought it it’s amazing the picture quality is along the lines of Sony and just full 4K projectors so unless you have 5k plus to spend this is a beautiful projector with little to no lag for gaming if I would upgrade right now it’ll be a jvc but at $8000 and even then there might only be a slight difference in contrast and blacks which honestly does make a big difference in picture quality but as far as I seen in stores like Nebraska furniture mart they look very similar which is surprising

    For anyone who doesn't want to spend $1600 dollars on a projector with these specs, don't worry there's an ultra budget model that's super impressive, the Viewsonic PX701-4k has the same input lag rating as the tk700sti at 4 ms with 1080p at 240hz yes the ultra budget can do all the resolutions, and refresh rates as the tk700sti, the downside though, no eArc, no streaming stick implementation, and no 3D, but for people who don't care about 3D and don't mind getting around the issue its a no brainer.

  • @lorenzoocchipinti9120
    @lorenzoocchipinti9120 Před 2 lety

    Are you sure it's 240hz at 1080pwith 4ms? On the official site input lag 3 frame (50ms) 60Hz. It's different by TK700Sti, it's not for gaming, TK700Sti is for gaming, with 240hz in 1080p and 4ms of latency.
