5:19 Hank is in every sense if the word, a MAN. Not what people like Andrew Tate think it means to be a man, but what a man truly should be. Hank's morals are as strong as his build. I love scenes like that and when he scares off a John. Above all, Hank is a good guy who will come to the defense of anyone he thinks needs it.
25:02 When the great Gilgamesh, a king who got whatever he wanted, lost his warrior companion Enkidu he tore out his hair and cried at his corpse for 6 days and 7 nights. When Hank lost his truck, his faithful war horse and the only thing in his life he ever could depend on, he mourned for like 2 days. This was no moment of weakness. Hank Hill > The god king Gilgamesh
I mean, did not Hank and Gilgamesh both learn to appreciate life more after these tragic incidents? And yes, Hank's was faster because it was two days. Gilgamesh took seven days AND an epic journey to find the flower of immortality (and failed in said quest!) AND a failed trip to the underworld to recover his friend to get to the same point.
@@NodDisciple1 You can definitely give Gilgamesh the credit of his journey to the underworld (even if hank can power it). However, I would still argue he outdoes him in every way within that episode. Hank displayed a great connection to the old gods by reincarnating his truck into a new model using the shifter as a horcrux and the dark ritual used by James from silent hill 2 in the secret new game plus ending. But even this pales in comparison to his demonstration of financial genius, as he's able afford a new truck spontaneously at stickerprice. As a simple propane salesman, this flex makes Hank more intimidating than anything the underworld could throw at Gilgamesh.
@@MrThatguyuknow Gilgamesh struggled in the underworld, but as we know, hank thrived in hell, becoming the assistant manager in a relatively short amount of time comparative to the insurmountable scope of the infinite amount of time he would theoretically spend there. But I think it’s safe to say that because Peggy was having such vivid nightmares about hell, these may be based on traumatic past instances, but since Peggy and Hank are on earth, we can assume that at some point Hank gained enough power to break them free.
20:05 His hair flowing up all of a sudden after being threatened by Hank was clearly due to the aura from John powering up but then powers down and fixed his hair when he realizes Hank is much more powerful in his base form.
Areyallbeingserios in not tryna be funny I honestly can't tell I don't know if I should laugh or make room in my brain to store this newfound knowledge
I think your under powering Hank a bit. Let's remember Hank usually HIGHLY restrains himself to make sure he doesn't damage lawns or propane products. I think it would be accurate to say he's a galactic tier.
Ok, but now please I beg you.... do the Billdozer himself. If Dale is a spiritual, toxin immune martial artist legend with near invincibility and inhuman strength. I need to see how you rate a man that in his prime was strong enough to force 4 high school football athletes out of the way for his big prime moment. That man with military connections, training, and body fat/muscle ratio is like a living tank sometimes.
I feel like we are burying the lead about Bobby’s potential to be the most power character in the hillverse. He isn’t there yet, but he will be. Not only does he inherit any powers Hank and Peggy have, but he is also a reincarnated lama and is shown to be one of the most durable if not the most durable character in the show in that one episode he goes to military school. He is apparently the best shot in the show showing he is amazingly skilled. He took down the monster Hank with a single kick, he is one of the few people the god tier threat Cotton respects. Hell, Dale asked Bobby to be the one to shot him in that one episode because he knew only Bobby was strong enough to negate his regenerative powers. With training Bobby will clearly be the strongest character.
Bobby's mental fortitude and physical durability were put to the test at Fort Berk. He even managed to beat Cotton's record in The Hole by one day. Compared to how Cotton barely survived in his youth, Bobby showed no sign of weakness whatsoever. It was even stated that had Bobby been to war, he could turn his enemies torture tactics against them, winning WWII single-handedly in 3 days.
One thing overlooked is Hank’s speed, he mentions at 16:04 that he ran the 40 yard dash at 5.9 seconds, which is the equivalent speed of an average NFL offensive lineman. Definitely not the fastest, but for sure formidable.
One doesn’t need to be as fast as The Flash to be a frightening match. Hank understands this to be the case, as he puts all of his power into pure strength and durability. That said, the power he put into those categories definitely contributed to him being far faster than the average person.
@@hoho9334 kids are getting trained sooner & more effectively now due to technology. This comment genuinely makes me want to run distributions of 40 times as a whole & by year. I’m so curious to see the change Y/Y. Thank you
Something you forgot to mention in your video is that Hank is an empath. He feels the pain of all living beings including plans which is why he’s emotional over his lawn and trees etc
Don't forget that, in season 2, the feat of Hank casually dragging a grown man out of his truck with one arm, picking said man up with one arm, and then slamming him effortlessly against the side of Hank's truck, again, with one arm. That is incredible strength for doing all of that effortlessly with one arm... is actually more impressive than one may think at first. He also was obviously restraining himself as to not kill the criminal, too, evidenced by the fact that he was doing all of that without any strain or noticeable effort. This is in line with him leaving a dent in a metal car and kicking the fence of a race track. Even that early, Hank was, at baseline, near peak human in strength, if not true peak human.
Another thing to note about Shaggy vs Hank: Hank is uniquely vulnerable to pot, which Shaggy is implied heavily to have on it at all times and can potentially even manipulate on an elemental level, meaning he's walking into battle armed with Hank's weakness. On that note, I suspect this weakness to pot comes from his body reacting poorly to lack of rage. Similar to how he drops to soy boy mode after Testosterone mode because his body was no longer used to producing it, when his body is forced to experience true calm from things pot or alcohol, his body reacts very violently because some amount of rage is what was keeping him going the whole time. Thats my idea anyway
Yeah similar to a dry drunk, this is similar to how my father works. They run at a higher cholesterol and test per Ng level than other humans. They run on pure salt, steak, asparagus, and propane.
I had a shit day at work, come home got super stoned. I see this on my homepage, screamed OH. MY. GOD. out loud and am now in a substantially better mood. I love these videos man
I almost lost it when I heard the narrator say, “Hank able to make average tools and blades cut through a relaxed Dale.” 😂 Keep these videos coming. I had to like and subscribe after this video.
I feel like Hanks passive power will lower as he ages, but his rage power will increase as his ability to manipulate his mental capacity for rage increases (look at his father for reference) he will be able to reach the higher levels of his power which have not yet been seen. Side note, Testosterone pilled Hank has scary potential for battles.
Everyone forgets that Norville 'Shaggy' Rogers is canonically a vegetarian, giving him much less fuel in the form of protein. Hank imbues his meats with the power of propane to generate even more energy. I don't think Shaggy would stand a chance against Hank Hill, I'm sorry to say.
Imagine watching a man shake the whole universe twice without breaking a sweat at a 3rd of his power, then saying that Dale can still take him in a fight... Hank has outplayed Dale several times. Like that lawn mower focus group where he completely fired dales mind, that time hank used his power to allow Dale to use a backhoe to dig himself out of a hole, and all those times Dale had to run away from hank cause he knew hank would win (coming out of blindness, the tunnel after cutting his finger off, America Dale)
Wow, I had forgotten about this show. I didn't appreciate it as a teen when it came out, but my father loved it. Looking back it all these years later, I can see why. Things have changed so much, so quickly, it is concerning to say the least.
its the year 2050. An emp wiped out all technology. By something miraculous. the audio from this video survives. People of the future then think Hank hill was a god as well as a real man
I've been watching these since I discovered your channel. You know in a really weird way, you've forever altered how I see King of the Hill now, and you've basically managed to make the reruns fresh again.
If you are a purest like Hank is and keep your power level not only clean (drug free) but focused; then one puff off of the Mana enducing herb known as “ganja” would severely cripple any being who has not yet tempted the dankly path.
I would like to add that while the weed man whom collects the wheels which are hot is on the dankly path he has yet to master it like Cheech or Chong from their movie universe. There is yin and yang to all whom walk it. Rasta.
Hank slaming the door is the frist and second bing bang. And him knowing Bobby was gonna say he wanted a gun rack for his bike is another 2 feats of hanks abilities
I wish that you had reviewed the KotH Manga for this video. In an early training arc, Buck has Hank run from Arlen to the sun with three of the infinite propane tanks on his back. Buck said this is the secret cardio technique of his people. It is not about building speed. Rather, it builds strength and endurance. Without the training arc in the series, it just seems like Hank just gains power for no reason.
That’s right before Hank had that god awful arc where he had to bring that damn rock from the moon to Peggy just to get sidetracked by finishing John Redcorn’s vision quest for, like, 30 chapters and I’m still mad about that shit.
I'm upset that they didn't even cover that his truck is his uncles friends next-door neighbors from the future and thus gives hank some minor buffs to his strength due to him having a brain chip implanted which allows the truck to merge with him at will
Excellent analysis. By far the most thoroughly researched. However, Shaggy, as a hippy, is likely to trigger a massive rage boost immediately when Hank sees him due to his past battles with hippies. Subbed!
When hank told Peggy she looks pretty, he only knew it would work because Peggy told him to use that line on Luanne...so basically, you need to do an episode on Peggy for any of these theories to be valid.
Just going to say that basically anybody can sink a nail with a single blow. Nobody can do it unless whatever they're nailing into is pretty soft so I was glad you said it takes skill rather than strength. If you're nailing into a soft material, it really just takes technique, accuracy, and a hammer with a long handle. Hammering is more of a skill than most people give it credit for, but you can practice enough that you can hit a nail square at full speed every time without choking up on the handle in a few days. After that, if someone who knows what they're doing shows you how to optimize your technique, you might need a couple more days to practice so you can incorporate what they told you without losing accuracy. Then you just need a green piece of soft wood and you're good to go. What's really impressive is if you can hammer a fence staple into an old, incredibly hard fence post that's loose in the ground when there's a tree about 7 inches away that blocks your swing without taking 20 minutes. Driving a fence staple is basically driving two nails at at the same time so you have to hit it perfectly square every time or you drive one side in deeper than the other and change the angle. Over half the energy of the swing goes into moving the post instead of sinking the staple so you have to hold the post with one hand or your body. Even if you do everything right, half the time the staple flares out because it's easier for the metal to bend than sink into the wood.
Powers of seduction check Powers of rapid healing check The reincarnation of a famous Buddhist priest check Ability to wound Hank Hill check Powers of mass mind control through shitty jokes check Possible origin of the infamous Billdozer check What else?
9:25 It can be argued that was actually Hank's strength that either broke the pole as a sort of delayed affect after his crushing forces against it, or as a testament to his strength being able to keep the pole intact and grounded with pure strength alone. Keeping in mind this is base Hank *without* a rage boost.
We need a cotton episode, he could be the most powerful in the universe; he lived through the removal of his shins, somehow simultaneously fought in both the Pacific and European theater, obtained Hitler's canoe, and of course, killed fitty men.
Bucks power is he can't die. He has had multiple heart surgeries and heart attacks to the point they keep a defibrillator in the office. He's probably destroyed all of his kidneys. His liver is definitely done for and he's still alive. I would love to see a video on this too tbh
23:08 What you forget is that bobby specifically chose that mirror, implying that the soul was the same, but he chose a different path, and wanted to focus on love rather than spiritual perfection
Even the monks in the episode disscussed it, they saw Bobby as the reincarnation for choosing the mirror, but respected his choice to avoid the result. Bobby in the reincarnation of llama or is spiritually conneted with, and it is canon.
I cant lie king of the hill changed how I felt for people, it made me appreciate there plights in life and work hard and how to honor people who honor you. if there was a show Id hope people would show there kids it that one.
KotH power scales have been underappreciated for far too long. It's a complex universe as you showed; most shonen just have number go higher. But the King has his ups and downs, the depth is unparalleled.
This is the sort of content I never would have thought I'd ever watch, but it's the sort of content I have deep down always, but never really realized I wanted until 1 hour and 7 minutes ago.
Hanks back weakness is because his body is struggling to keep his immense power contained in human form. He unleashed some of that power against Dale in the manga before the cotton hill arc.
I haven’t seen the true power of BOBBY HILL My man is the best of both worlds of Peggy and Hank, as well as being a child amongst gods like Dale and Bill, his grey matter is absorbing so much power and knowledge
I can't believe you've put out another high quality power scaling video for the KotH universe so soon! I would love to see you analyze the silent powerhouse that is known as Bill Dauterive, so many people sleep on him, so I'd love to see you organize all of his feats like the last two! Obviously take your time, organizing high quality videos of feats like these is a very tall task, and requires a lot of skill/power yourself.
I’d actually argue that hank doing cardio was not a soy moment but a necessary one. Due to the illness Bobby gave him he likely had his stamina lowered which is why he did the cardio, to strengthen his heart and to regain his lost stamina.
The only thing that keeps bill down is his depression and s*icidal tendencies. Much like Okuyasu in Jojo part 4, he's likely the strongest character in the show, but hasn't got any idea how to use it.
as a certified Stoner i can confirm that getting high without knowing it, especially without doing it before would be a huge psychic blow. i feel like that is an accurate hank hill weakness, that could possibly be overcame by proper training. though we know through hanks inability to fight through extreme disgust that is most likely impossible.

@@NodDisciple1 hank went on one quest and got it right the first time, when he acquired his new, and if we’re speaking truthfully, improved steed

Ok, but now please I beg you.... do the Billdozer himself. If Dale is a spiritual, toxin immune martial artist legend with near invincibility and inhuman strength. This series is finally getting the attention it deserves. The fanbase has been deprived of proper power evaluations for too long!
Interesting i have been looking for a new destroyer and have asked Dale or hank but maybe I should ask Bobby
Dale doesn't fear Hank because of his power. He fears him out of respect.

You forgot to mention that the same propane explosion that hank survived so easily LITERALLY KILLED another dude straight up
Something you forgot to mention in your video is that Hank is an empath.

Dale can only beat Hank in his Albino Buffalo form
Dale would only beat Hank in his Albino Buffalo form if it's a surprise attack as Hank would have no rage boosts.

If you are a purest like Hank is and keep your power level not only clean (drug free) but focused; then one puff off of the Mana enducing herb known as “ganja” would severely cripple any being who has not yet tempted the dankly path.

That’s right before Hank had that god awful arc where he had to bring that damn rock from the moon to Peggy just to get sidetracked by finishing John Redcorn’s vision quest for, like, 30 chapters and I’m still mad about that shit.
he surpassed Gundam
I'm upset that they didn't even cover that his truck is his uncles friends next-door neighbors from the future and thus gives hank some minor buffs to his strength due to him having a brain chip implanted which allows the truck to merge with him at will
When Hank Hill says he’s gonna kick your ass, he’s not making a threat. He’s making a promise.

When hank told Peggy she looks pretty, he only knew it would work because Peggy told him to use that line on Luanne...so basically, you need to do an episode on Peggy for any of these theories to be valid.
But, you’re forgetting that hank has excellent deduction abilities, which is why he took a chance at the compliment
For blacksmith one way to practice is hitting nails in the the back of the hammer. If you are off with a ball pein the hammer I going to slide off

KotH power scales have been underappreciated for far too long. It's a complex universe as you showed; most shonen just have number go higher. But the King has his ups and downs, the depth is unparalleled.
At 20:43 even dale flinches at the thought of old spanky. Meaning that old spanky is pretty much the "infinity gauntlet" of the hill-verse.

I’d actually argue that hank doing cardio was not a soy moment but a necessary one. Due to the illness Bobby gave him he likely had his stamina lowered which is why he did the cardio, to strengthen his heart and to regain his lost stamina.
