When I was growing up and our church would come to your’s, “Papa Barnes” and my dad would take both families out to eat but your grandfather would NEVER order. We knew he would end up eating off of his family’s plate to make his meal. A little from your grandmother, a little from your aunt and dad… my dad would ride him hard about it. “Barnes, why don’t you order your own food!?” 😂 It never failed. By the time he took off of everyone’s plate he would be full. I couldn’t believe you said the SAME THING. You eat off of everyone else’s plates. It’s the little things that remind us they never left us. 🥰
