I started watching Gilmore Girls with my mom when I was 10 (5th grade) and Lauren is right that stuff did go over my head at the time (though of course I was watching it as it was released each year so i grew up with it rather than binging it). Gilmore Girls has always been my comfort show and before Netflix I was rewatching it on the dvds (still have them!) and I continue to rewatch it to this day! Lauren Graham is such a gem and I love everything she's been in and written. Such a talent, lovely person!

Ah... me too love Lauren Graham my mom told me about it ans watched with my daughter 13. ❤️ my daughter bought me the set and we watched on the constant lol and now she plays it in the back ground she has a 4 yr old an pregnant. Her husband also loves it and we all know the saying.. i remember that tree or many others when people look at us we look at each other and laugh it's from Gilmore girls lol 😊❤❤❤❤❤ we love the show to this day 💕!!!!

I adore Lauren Graham! Her own book (Talking As Fast As I Can) and her novel are both so lovely. Of course, rewatching Gilmore Girls and the chemistry between her and Kelly Bishop are awesome. I've seen her in many interviews and she is always just so gracious, kind, and funny.
Love her!! Wish they did a sequel to Gilmore girls now. It would be awesome and popular. My daughter met Lauren in NY and said she truly is as beautiful inside as she is on the outside.

I’m watching Gilmore girls for the first time with my wife who has already seen the whole series. And as a straight male, I love this show. It’s very relaxing and charming and compelling to watch. Currently finishing season 3. Shh don’t tell me…
That's good to hear! But sorry to break this to u, the series goes downhill with every season. Especially season 6 and the sequel which released in 2021😅
My husband enjoyed it too but he absolutely hates Rory lol.
I watched Gilmore Girls when I was in my late 30s with my daughter who was in high school. I remember gifting her a GG script (which I found on eBay) for a school milestone. She was thrilled! We always thought of ourselves like the GGs. When I went on vacation to CA, my favorite part was visiting the Star's Hollow set on the WB studio tour.

From what I've read, they never actually dated, but were good friends, which is sometimes better than romance.
Matthew Perry said that she was beautiful, brilliant, an amazing comedic actor and one of his dearest friends. I was hoping they would get together after she and Peter Krause broke up. Miss Matthew Perry's comedic genius.

Gilmore Girls is really one of my favorite shows. I loved Lauren Graham and wish they would do a continuing series with her and Alexis and her difficult mom.

It's such poor taste to continue to bring up Matthew Perry in conversations that have nothing to do with him just so you can put it in the title. Let him rest in peace, and stop blindsiding and bothering his friends in the name of virality. You said it here that you have been talking about him daily - why is that? Are you really trying to bring him up at every opportunity just in the hopes someone will have an emotional moment on camera out of their grief? Deplorable.

These chat show interviews are never spontaneous, the actors know what topics will come up. Lauren obviously isn’t blindsided, she has an answer prepared, and she could/would have declined to talk about him if she didn't want to.
@meme-sl4nb nah, the look on her face and in her eyes, she had no idea..she was able to play it off well, but she was hurt. There's a ton of clips out there of stars being interviewed and being blindsided by questions. Some do tell the interviewer off. In some cases, they could be prepared for some questions, but not all of them all the time. It also depends on where the conversation is going to go.

Because the revival was really unflattering for her. She went overboard with the fillers, died her hair a weird colour, and the wardrobe was consistently bad.
She still looks like she has some residuals of fillers, but over all looks beautiful.

Like everyone else, I love the show, BUT no one has ever mentioned this. We all know, Lauren and her daughter had very specific musical like conversations that was special, BUT by the end of the show EVERYONE in the entire town was talking like the two of you! That was YOUR thing! Somehow it turned into the entire town. I hated that no one picked up on this :( I liked when it was only You and Rory. That was your special thing in your personality which became part of Rory. Seeing Kirk, Taylor, Babette, and even Luke start to talk like you, made you less unique. If there is ever another season, PLEASE PLEASE point this out.

My now-adult daughter & I watched Gilmore Girls together. Now, she’s getting married and she just told me we are going to have a Mother-Daughter dance to the GG theme song (“Where You Lead”, written & performed by the legendary Carole King, w/her daughter Louise Goffin).
