I enjoy this stage of these hunts the most, when we start waiting for particular dates to show up. Every new addition to the board becomes so exciting! Thank you Paul, for all of the effort you put into these videos!
Cheers Andrew, thanks for watching 👍
These pennies are one of my favourite coins to collect, because of their design and how many years there are to collect.
Old pennies are my favourite coin too 👍
These hunts really inspire me to find pennies like this 😊
The board is filling up nicely. Some nice upgrades especially the 1893 . Nice 1918H upgrade for your Whitman album also 😊.
Yes, this hunt is coming along nicely Jude. Happy New Year to you and yours 👍
A very Happy New Year to you and your family too Paul 😊👍
Thank you for bring these hunts to all of us. Always time well spent😊
Thank's for the update on the 1913 dot Paul. When you were describing the 1926 and the 'I', I was looking at his 'eye' for modification!! 😂🤣
I can't believe how quickly the board is filling up. I'm loving this hunt. And a happy new year to you 😉
Happy New Year Elliott 👍
These penny hunts helped inspire me to start a wheat penny album
Great additions to the board. Thumbs down to finding some coins in polished condition. Thanks to your videos I'm on the lookout for the gap between beads and tip of trident's middle fork on the 1922 penny. Someday...we'll find this variety. Keep up the good work! Take care.
A nice sit down with a mug of tea and a coin patrol penny hunt. All is well with the world.
Thanks Nikki. Happy New Year 👍
I was hoping to see another penny hunt before the year ended and super pleased with a couple of Bingo lines too.
The 1958 Aussie Penny appeared to have lines running through it too but a little fainter than the 1926 Penny 😊 the
Is filling up nicely as well
Great stuff 👍🏻
Cheers Andy. I'll check out that 1958 Aussie penny in the nexy video 👍
Happy New Year and thanks for another hunt.
Thanks for watching. Happy New Year to you 👍
Another great hunt and continuing my education in the world of pennies, happy new year.
Cheers Richard. Thanks for watching. A Happy New Year to you 👍
Great penny hunt. I agree with you about the shined up coins. They look terrible. Hope you had a good holiday
Yes. shined up coins are horrible, they will all end up in the dirty mug. Thanks for watching Tommac
Happy new year Paul. Always a happy moment when a new episode goes up.
Cheers JTH, Happy New Year to you 👍
Great job CP, happy new year to you and yours.
Happy New Year Darren 👍
Good hunt and the board seems to be filling better than usual, looking for the next one
I have to say that my favourite coin this hunt is the striped 1926 ... I love these pennies !! My grandma was from the Isle of Wight and she had some of these pennies, which were passed down to my Dad when she passed and now to me now that my Dad has passed. Happy New Year to you and Mrs CP 🥳
Thank you auntieauddie, A Happy New Year to you and yours 👍
I love the sound of British pennies clanging together.
Yes, it's a lovely sound. Thanks for watching Kevin 👍
Cannot believe the amount of polished coins in this video. Happy New Year to you and I am looking forward to more of your videos in 2024
Yes, there's lots of polished ones in this batch sadly. Happy New Year Roger
Happy frolics and fun! I wish much more of the same on you for 2024... and many good finds! happy hunting - may the coin faerie cast her spell on you and throw many coins at the boards!
PS - on me, I wish the contents of at least one of your GAW's! Yep... I'm not greedy!! 😁🍻💥
Both the board and the dirty mug are filling up nicely . Another great video, love these penny hunts
Yes, Plenty of pennies for The Dirty Mug this time. Thanks for watching Francis 👍
This videos you make are great to watch. Thank you for showing the difference in the 1926.
Cheers, thanks for watching 👍
It may be a new year but there's something awfully charming about hunting old pennies.
Happy New Year WooWho
The board is filling up nicely Paul. Happy New Year 🥳 to you and Sue 🎉😊🍺
Thanks John. Happy New Year to you and yours 👍
I Paul thanks again for another video, sham about all those shined up coins.Have a happy and healthy new year, from JRS.
Yes, those polished coin belong in The Dirty Mug. Happy New Year to you and yours John 👍
Good to see those mint marks starting to arrive!
Yes, I hope there's plenty more to come Roger. Thanks for watching 👍
Love these videos - very informative on all of the variations
Such wonderful coins! Happy new year to you sir
Happy New Year Larry 👍
Another awesome hunt. I'm loving these penny hunts
great hunt! Entertaining as always!!!
Another good one Paul. I was thinking that first 1918H was a nicer looking example.
Lots of people sick for the holidays here in the US. Thanks for posting. I needed something cool to do. Hope you had a nice Christmas.
Thank you. Have a Happy New Year JJ
Got to agree with you about not liking polished coins. Board is coming along nicely.
Yes, they all belong in the Dirty Mug. Thanks for watching Paul 👍
Thanks for the video, great to see all the pennies.
Thanks again Paul, your right would be great to see a 1950/1951 come up 🤞👍
Yes, I would love to find one. I found a 1950 a couple of years ago, but never a 1951 👍
Lovely hunt Paul always impressed by the knowledge you impart.. 👏👏
Thanks Peter 👍
Nice vlog again Paul, two 1918H were a nice surprise. You didn't check the excellent 1893 you found to see if it was better than yours in the Whitman Folder. Anyways I hope you & Sue have a great New Year. Best Wishes
I'm always forgetting to check my folder Keith. Oh well, too late for that one now, it's stayimg on the board. Happy New Year to you and yours 👍
Happy New Year Paul, I liked the 1958 Aussie penny in this video.
Yes, The Aussie penny is a good find. thanks for watching Ian 👍
Yet more George V pennies! - 53% of all the pennies in this series thusfar have been from 'Grandpa England's' reign. Some nice Victorias, too - I see a 1877 narrow date penny in about the same condition as the wide date one you found sold at auction recently for £5,148 including buyer's premium - crazy!
All the best to CP for the New Year - here's to more pennies galore in '24!
Wow, some people are clearly prepared to pay big for the coins they want!
Cheers Tony. I would love to find a 1877 narrow date in any condition. Thanks for watching. Happy New Year to you 👍
Nostalgic part of me would love them in circulation again. They are so distinctly British.
The feel like real coins to me Brian 👍
Thanks Paul for nice explanation about coins. Love this video.
Cheers, thanks for watching 👍
Thanks to you Paul. I have learned a lot about coin from your videos.
Thank you once again for an informative and entertaining video.
Cheers, thanks for watching 👍
I really do enjoy these hunts! Thanks
I think i missed part 4 so I need to go back and check and another awesome hunt
I am excited to see the number of Victorian pennies in this lot. Another fantastic hunt.
Thank you Dennis 👍
Always a great watch, can wait for the next one .👍
im 100% with you CP on the travesty of shined up coins, they look awful... that 1921 you found would have been a very nice, near to an EF grade example, but for someone messing with it. thanks for the section on showing the 1926 ME variant... its easily forgotten.
Yes, I really hate polished coins. Thanks for watching Ian 👍
Another very good hunt. Just like that.
Not bad going in terms of new dates, and a couple of Bingo lines. Wonder if some more for the left hand side will show up? Another informative video 👍
Cheers Glen, yes, lets hope some more of the older ones turn up. and no more polished ones for The Dirty Mug 👍
This will make you laugh, my late Father, who passed in 1998, collected British coins from about 1963-1967, then when I was 11 years old in 1970, I 'helped' him by polishing some of the very worn Pennies! In 2020, I revisited his collection and have made considerable effort to both fill in the gaps and, with somewhat a sense of guilt have been replacing those polished coins with better, unpolished examples! The good thing is that I only polished the most worn examples!
Phew. Good job you only polished the worst examples 😯 Thanks for watching 👍
Darned polished coins ! they drive me bananas too !
Yes, they all belong in the Dirty Mug. Thanks for watching Luna 👍
Great entertainment as usual mate, Penny’s from heaven.
The group is quite complete for this early in the hunt
I agree with you about polishing coins that there is nothing wrong with them but i think you should clean any coin that is starting to corrode badly because if people start getting rid of coins like that they will start disapearing and thanks for another great hunt
Yes, you're right. I don't mind cleaning a bit of dirt or corroion off a coin, but polishing is a no no. They belong in The Dirty Mug. Thanks for watching Joe 👍
utterly wonderful happy new year Paul.
I find it interesting that the reverse of the penny has stayed the same for so many years.
Love those pennies always a good show.
Another great penny hunt great to see more Victorian pennies on the board shame about the cleaned ones cheers mate. 👍🇦🇺👊
Cheers Michael. Yes, I really hate those polished coins. Thanks for watching 👍
Always enjoy your videos. Thank you
Cheers Rob, thanks for watching👍
Hi...great hunt as always...did you not see the three teeth on the polished 1937 coin, above victoria's head.....they look strangely gapped...keep the searches coming....
I'll check out the 1937 in the next video. Thanks for watching Robby 👍
Hi again, just read my comment and I meant above Britania's head....lol
Nice additions and upgrades another fun hunt
Cheers Shane 👍
I do learn a lot from you during these videos.
Cheers Phillip, thanks for watching 👍

Gearing up for another cool vid!!
Another absorbing video, thanks.
Thanks for watching 👍
Yet another brilliant hunt Paul
Nice to see the 1918 H show up, but the 18 from Kings Norton is unlikely as it's a terrible service.
🚅 lol, Happy New Year Paul 👍
Great hunt once again!
Another great hunt! 👍
Thanks Paul another great video
Cheers Stephen. Thanks for watching 👍
The 1893 was the find of this video And The board is filling up nicely.
Yes, it is in a nice condition. Thanks for watching. Happy New Year Mark 👍
i think i’d be happy with the coins in the dirty mug 😂
There's lots in there now. It won't be long before it's full 👍
Cool how you showed how to tell the 1926 modified effigies.
Cheers Funny, thanks for watching 👍
great vlog
Great to see Tommy Cooper 😊
He's a legend. Thanks for watching James 👍
Nice hunt as always paul
Let's hear it for the bingo line!!🎉🎉
Thanks for watching Pirmal 👍
Excellent video as usual 👍
If you did find a bespoke variety/error..and you had the opportunity to name this coin..what would you call it...🤔 maybe the patrol error...or Paul's penny??
They say that some people used to varnish coins in their collections to protect them.
A very strange thing to do in my opinion Bob. Thanks for watching 👍
Yep the preservation of coins keeps evolving, PVC,mylar, brown paper envelopes all kinds of ways to store coins and only time can tell us the consequences.@@CoinPatrol
Wish I could find lots like this in Canada
both sides filling up nicely, wonder if we will get a full house.
Lets hope so Darren 👍
Wow those KN's really lucky, time to play the lottery.
What are some of the harder dates I should look for, especially on some of the earlier dates?
1869 and 1871 pennies are the rarer ones to look for Ryan 👍
@@CoinPatrol I'll keep an eye out for these key dates at the next coin show I attend. Probably harder to find here in the states but not impossible.
Where do you acquire random unsorted batches of coins like this?
Great coins!
I just love these coins
Cheers Mike, thanks for watching 👍
I held off watching these so I could binge the lot. Not regretting my decision
interesting video the board is filling up
Cheers Terry 👍
