What do you use to pull the peg out of a figure? Hot water but then what do you pull it with to not damage the ball area?

Nice collection! For the batfleck figure, which figure did you take the peg to make his head lower?

Thanks for the view! I have the Collector Edition Original Superman from his first appearance in Action Comics #1. I felt his neck was way too short, so I did a swap with the Batfleck figure and I think they both look much better now.
