Was part of being extra/talent here. Masasabi ko lang magaling talaga sila and yung effort sa pag gawa ng mv all out sila, bigay na bigay every take ng choreo and may hoorah chant pa nga sila na nakaka boost ng morale kahit nanonood lang ako sa choreo 😂. makikita mo talaga yung dedication nila as a group nakaka hype and it gives me hope for the ppop industry. Also willing ullit ako mag extra kahit crowd lang. pls and tenkyu 😂

This takes me back to the 2000s!
What was Y2k ye summer children might ask: twas when most of us thought the world will short-circuit come the turn of the century. We partied hard. We lived life to the -foolish- fullest because the future was uncertain -- heck, we thought we wouldn't have any. The Matrix also came out in 1999 and it was a fever dream. MTV was our drug from the boob tube and it fueled our art, style, we were rebels desperate to stand out. Coolness was the norm. Maximalism was preferred. We wrote in our livejournals: "Live fast, die young so you can leave a cute corpse." I lolz thinking about that now.
ALAMAT perfectly captures the zeitgeist of that time in the GAYUMA music video. AJ slays as the techno-babaylan, an entity that recalls Aeon Flux, Satoshi Kon's protagonists, and the mysterious Filipino mediatrixes. The boys execute the frenetic rave in a dance floor that's both specific and timeless. They are drawn to the source of the enchantment. We look at them, too. All are spellbound. This is meta-Gayuma.

AJ nailed it. R-Ji's image is unreal, he gave out the I-may-do-bad-things to you look, so yeah, I felt that (not complaining, tho lol). Tomas is such an effective actor, his facial expression upon entering the club set the tone of the entire video. Kudos to my biases, Mo and Taneo, with Alas and Jao for the music and sultry choreography. It's easy to be a fan of Magiliw 'coz we're always so proud of their hard work and crazy talent.
Literal na magagayuma ka sa kantang ito, sa boses nila, sa M/V, sa mga movement. Sa lahat ng M/V and song nila hindi talaga ako naccringe. First MV na nakita ko sa kanila is MAHARANI. ALAMAT is really creating something na very filipino culture. They are bringing us to something new. I'm glad na nakilala ko ang Alamat. I'm a new fan and masasabi ko lang, ALAMAT is EVERYTHING!

Ang galing niyo nang gumawa ng MVs Alamat! I can see how you incorporate all the dance styles you've learned in your previous songs, kasmala, hala, porque, sulm. Your choreographers taught you well, you absorbed what they taught you and now use them all freely to express your own song. The people you work with are all true creatives. Live perfs na lang Ang imaster niyo and you'll be one of the best groups.
9:22 to 9:42 Pansin ko palaging si Tomas yung may vlog segment na kinakausap yung leading lady or female lead guest sa dressing room. He did the same thing with their female lead on The Making of Aswang MV. I'm not trying to say that the other boys did not talk to the female lead at all, of course they certainly did off cam. SAna lang next time ivlog yung ibang male members na nakikipagbond sa female lead. In fact, I was expecting MO to be paired with AJ on this MV. Pero nung nirelease yung MV , mali pala ako hahahahaha. Medyo bagay sila. ❤️
