I get your sentiment about children not caring for their parents which was captured by the movie Baghban. However, I’m witnessing higher cases of parents not wanting to be with their children or grandchildren. Even when they are around for whatever short time, they are not at all engaged or concerned. They would rather watch tv or be on phone than tell grandkids a story or spend any amount of time with them. The generation of parents born in 50s and 60s are showing strange levels of indifference towards their children and grandchildren. They are not going to leave any good memories for them or a legacy for them to cherish. What sort of karma are they accumulating?

I have been living alone for the past few years, in a foreign country away from my family and it completely changed me. It was depression in the beginning but now? Now I enjoy my company more than anything else in this world. I love being who I am and being completely free, I've come to understand myself on a deeper level, and as a person I am complete. When you marry the right person, it is better than living your life alone. A loving partner can respect if their partner likes to have alone time. Then you can also have the upside of someone being there for you. When you age and your health goes, it helps to share the load with someone. To have an advocate if you're in the hospital, or recovering from surgery. Many other things. Perhaps, you could depend on a friend to go through life with you, but there is no commitment for them to be there.
I know there is divorce, but if 2 loving people can make a commitment to each other, I think it's better than living alone forever. Just my opinion.

I love being alone. I have to make myself open up and reach out to lived ones. I love them, but i truly enjoy the loveliness of my own company. I can hear myself. I can be myself. I can be my true self without the dilution of other's expectations of me.
It saddens me when I hear my beautiful Indian friends talk about how materialistic their families are, and when I see the loss of Vedic culture. At the same time, the pressure to marry and have kids. Live your OWN life, my friends. You cannot be happy as anyone else but yourself.

I learned the hard way that marriage isn’t for me. It was liberating once I accepted this. But most people don’t understand it. I feel much better being alone than surrounded by the wrong people. I didn’t know I would feel this way because I allowed other people’s fear of loneliness influence me. Glad I accepted that my joy isn’t dependent on others.

@@valshiro515 my marriage 🏡 is empty. At first, I thought it was a bad thing. But then I realized it just means that this 🏡 is sorted & I can live just fine without it being “fulfilled”. I may meet someone when I’m older as well. Regardless I don’t need to compromise my standards as I’ve been pressured to bc I’m fine on my own.

Yes, I have Kemdrum yog in my chart and I LOVE being alone. Solitude is like sweet medicine for the soul of me. Being around people too much or being in large groups is like a nightmare. I can do it when I need to but I prefer to be alone. In that sacred space, I can deepen my connection to The Divine in peace without anybody disturbing me.

I’m 33, never been in a relationship. 7 years ago I developed a rare medical condition that makes life extremely socially isolating. I’m rejected by everyone, including friends and family. I hate that I still have a strong desire for companionship, though I do enjoy spending a lot of time alone.

So true about people chasing numbers and not actual love. I have always been a hopeless romantic and it’s hard being one in this society. I am attracted to someone and people that don’t even have a pot to piss in. I don’t even think of money when I’m interested in someone. I had a relationship reading from you a while ago and you did say you see heartbreaks and not to fall in love until atleast 29 year and I have to agree because although opportunity comes my way it’s always ended in heartbreak and disappointment. That is my karma and I accept it and hope that things change someday.

There's no way I could put my parents in a nursing home. I worked in a nursing home before and it was so heart breaking. I was relieved when people died there. Too much suffering. Not enough staff because greedy medical business 😭

My sister and i took care of my dad before his death, but it got to the point where we couldn't take care of him without leaving work, which neither of us could afford to do. He ended up dying before we could figure what to do though. It's understandable why kids have to put parents into nursing homes. We had to do that with my grandmother because she required full time medical care.

Not the same thing. Kapiel is referring to a situation where kids leave their parents in nursing homes without caring about them at all and leaving them entirely on the nursing home staff.

Your closing remarks are profound and something I've seen in my own life. A good friend met an astrologer who became so good at astrology that he could figure out almost everything about the jataka's mind and life. His conscience did not allow him to continue doing astrology as he felt it was too intrusive, and hence gave it up altogether. And he also shared something brilliant about pariharams (remedies) - the only true pariharam is when the problem/affliction is burnt down in the flames of the chidagni (fire of consciousness).

Let's say you were so blinded by lust in your past life that you became insensitive to those who cared for you. In this life, your mind will again be driven by lust, but this time your karma will not allow love to enter your life because you abused loved ones in your past life. Your karma will change only when you resolve to work for a higher purpose in life. A higher purpose is anything that does not have you at the centre, because the moment the "I" dissolves, your karma will give you a break. Karma stops propagating when you become selfless. Thank you for bringing this topic to light. I feel understood knowing that it is okay to feel lonely. Earlier it was like a wound getting deeper and deeper. But now it feels like a tunnel to my soul. Now, the need for having a relationship and desire to be loved by others are getting less and less. I'm working towards making my own home in the middle of now where. i’m currently 21 years old, i was raised by my grandma who’s passed on already and i’ve barely ever lived with my own mother since i can remember. she remarried and i already have a half sister that’s a year old now whom i’ve only seen twice.

Your observation is so true guruji. I have experienced this shift in myself undoubtedly. The more I have learnt about astrology the more quiet I have become. It's almost as if I have retracted my energy from the outer world and become more introverted and gone within. Until last year I wanted to discuss astrology but everyone I met but this year I'm experiencing the shift.

Hi Kapiel, I am learning with you too and you know what - things can be hard to digest sometimes but I follow Bruce Lipton's advice - always do a consciousness assessment before reading. The more conscious a person is, the less you can predict... Because that person can change the field around them and change the future. I stick to that.

Children in India are not abandoning their parents. There are economic compulsions to live in different cities usually the big ones which offer jobs whereas parents have their life settled in their own cities.
It's not westernisation It's capitalism.
Parents themselves do not prefer to shift from their settled lives to two bhk apartments that there children can afford.
Moreover the parents themselves feel worst in cities where they have nothing to do while there children are at office.
Women taking up jobs outside house is also problematic for majority patriarchal mindset. Because no matter what job the in laws n worst sometimes even the husband's ego is not satisfied if the daughter in law keeps a maid for household chores n not do everything with her own hands🤡

I don’t have a kemdrum yoga but I love being alone and am happily unmarried in my early forties. There has to be some other combinations that represent a solo journey in life, would love to know what those are too. Instead of being dedicated to another human I’m dedicated to the animals I care for and that has brought more joy.

Absolutely 💯. Infact elders get so selfish that they scheme thins in such a way that the younger ones without any kemadruma yoga also remain single and lose their prospective marriageable age and end up serving these selfish elders. I have seen so any such cases.

I can relate to this so well. It’s been more than 15 years and I live alone. It’s not that I’m m complaining about it but what you shared in this video don’t you think it’s a common issue in western countries.
